I would not recommend this Doctor if you are looking for compassionate and patient health care. I was his patient for over 10 years and most of the time he was difficult and impatient because my health was not improving at the rate he wanted it to. When I was in the hospital and almost died, he came to Chomp to visit me but seemed mad that it was on a Saturday and it was very uncomfortable for me... and I was devastated. When he was first recommended to me by another doctor, that same doctor warned me that Dr. Geiler knows his stuff but his bedside manner is not great. Well, I stayed with him and continued to be kind to him throughout 10 years and the only reason I did not change to another doctor was because of the hassle of doing so and the fact that it is so difficult to get in to see a new general practitioner here on the peninsula.

I can't say enough about the high quality of medical care I have received from Dr. Geiler. He listens, explains fully and clearly, and is very easy to speak to. Dr. Geiler's diagnoses, treatments, and referrals have been spot on. Simply put, he's a great doctor.

Best Doctor I have had. Spends as much time as needed to explain and treat what is going on. I was given his cell phone number in case I need to contact in an emergency

I am not sure why this Doctor is so popular. I did not have a good experience and would not recommend him to anyone. Spends very little time with patients and never returns calls.

You can not find a better Doctor on the central coast. I have been a patient for over 10 years. Dr. Geiler has always taken the time to listen and thoroughly explain everything during my appointments.

This is in response to the very negative and mal evaluation of Dr. Craig Geiler, in addition to being a patient of Dr. Geiler's for years, I am familiar with many of his patients. We all support that he is one of the best, most conscientious, and caring doctors that anyone could have. He has been awarded Doctor of the year several times by the Monterey Herald. I take great umbrage with all your comments. He has never used Cliff notes and doesn't have books in the patient room if he uses a compu

Dr. Geiler billed my insurance for a crazy amount of money after the first visit. I ended up having some ludicrous amount of money added to my deductible and I was responsible for the rest. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!
