I came to see Dr. Gluckman for a second opinion after a confusing and alarming diagnosis. Dr. Gluckman listened compassionately, reassured me and ordered two more diagnostic tests. She is theory that my original diagnosis was a false positive turned out to be correct. Very grateful for his professionalism, knowledge, and bedside manner!

The best GI I have found
I had a great experience with Dr. Gluckman. I went to him when my original GI was unable to see me and I will continue to go to him from now on. He was patient while I explained what was going on and very knowledgeable. He suggested a test for SIBO which is a simple non invasive test. In the meantime he prescribed me some medication to help with my symptoms. I have been to quite a few GI drs and he is by far the best I have seen. The office staff was great too. I would highly recommend Dr. Gluckman to anyone!

Could Not Diagnose. Only Wants To Do Procedures.
I went in for some diarrhea that I’ve been having for a couple of months. Dr. Gluckman could not figure it out and wanted to do a colonoscopy. After discussing my diarrhea with the PA that I see, he figured out that it was a medication I was taking. I stopped the medication and no diarrhea. Too bad Dr. Gluckman didn’t think of this. One of the previous times I saw him he wanted to do an invasive procedure to look into something we had already basically ruled out. I’d avoid this doctor unless you like doing unnecessary procedures.

Avoid at all costs!
On my 1st and only office visit, this doctor spent barely 10 minutes with me. He cut me off before I could finish explaining symptoms and offered a preconceived diagnosis. He then scheduled a (routine) procedure which typically requires anesthesia. However, this doctor specified that I DID NOT WANT anesthesia. This was never discussed! I was alerted to this strange request by scheduling staff who noticed how unusual the request was. It took me multiple phone calls and several days to correct this 'mistake.' After the procedure, while still regaining consciousness, the doctor informed me he was unable to complete a portion of the procedure and that I would have to have a second procedure - performed by 'his friend' another physician at a different facility. There has been zero communication since these procedures aside from outrageous medical bills. Avoid this doctor at all costs. I'm reporting him to the CA medical board as well.

Excellent experience
Dr. Gluckman was extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to me. He also did a colonoscopy, which went well. Have seen other gastros in LA area, and definitely felt in the best hands with Dr. Gluckman.
