He was an egotistical jerk. He acted like he was the only person who could care for my friend. I would not recommend him. He also is stringing her out with obscenely long chemotherapy treatment that is NOT WORKING for cancer that is running rampant in her body.

Terrible doctor. No compassion for his patients. He does not abide by his scheduled appointments and you end up seeing him SEVERAL hours later. Yes, he does seem to know a lot about cancer, but he candy coats everything. He is not the only oncologist. Please choose your doctor wisely. I feel he treats people that can be cured differently than the ones that are terminal. He is very egotistical.Don't let him fool you. He was my sister's doctor before she passed away.

I made an appointment for an oncology consult on a Tuesday morning at 11AM (the appt. was set a week prior). Arrived early to fill out paperwork and get vitals taken. Told that the doctor was running late and after an hour instructed to go home and they would call me to come back in the early afternoon. Hearing nothing by 2PM, I called and was told they would call me back in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I received a call instructing me to come back at 4PM "so I wouldn't have to wait for the

I have been seeing Dr. Gordon for years. He has a great bedside manner and is comfortable to talk to. He tells you the truth of any situation and will not leave a patient until they are comfortable. This does result in long waits. I call ahead of time and speak with the desk. They tell me when to either call back or come in based on information they have. Yes it is inconvenient at times but I feel he is the best! I am dealing with a second round of breast cancer and trust Dr. Gordon!

This is a very nice man however, his patients are kept waiting for literally hours. If you have a 10am appt., he does not even enter the office until 4pm and then you may see him around 530 or 6pm. It is horrible the way his terminally ill patients have to wait. I've witnessed dozens of patients walk out angry, crying etc. I don't understand how Beaumont is turning a blind eye to this, as they have an excellent reputation. They need to take care of and help this office and their patients!

Extremely knowledgable and kind doctor. Loved and respected by all. Consistently Detroit's Top Doc in the area of oncology and hematology. Dr. Gordon works tirelessly around the clock to keep his patients informed and satisfied. You would be hard pressed to find another doctor that would be available to you at 3am in person as well as on call. He may be late but he's worth the wait.

Be very careful if you choose this doctor. He has a god complex . He does not respect his patients. He has no problem making anxious patients waiting for hours. He does not feel bad either. He thinks he is above others. He is so arrogant he is a danger. Run the other way.

He might know cancer, but Dr. Gordon has absolutely no respect for his patients. Everytime I've been to see him, I've never waited less than 2 hours to see him. Why even make appointments. The waiting room is a toxic environment as well. Everybody is complaining about the ridiculous wait times. He must pay his receptionist a ton--she has to take the wrath that is directed at him. Do yourself a big favor--see another Dr.
