Dr. Craig Mahoney, MD

As a previous Orthopedic nurse I have worked with many different surgeons so I was very picky who I would let do my knee replacements. The care given by both Dr Mahoney and Casey pre and post op has been excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Very thorough with the pre op details and what to expect. I went to PT for detailed instructions prior to surgery for recommendations to prep for the best outcome. Everything went smoothly and I am very happy with the results. Highly recommend!

My first experience with Dr Mahoney was a total knee replacement. Then due to osteoarthritis both hips needed to be replaced. Dr Mahoney and his PA did an excellent job and they both are very personable and professional in all aspects of their practice. I would highly recommend using Dr Mahoney for hip or knee problems

After Dr. Kenny retired, I needed to select a new knee doctor for my care. Dr. Mahoney provided care for my daughter several years ago and was happy with his care. This was my first visit it was excellent. The visit was thorough and all questions were answered. We agreed on additional cortisone injections and he administered them painlessly during this visit. I will be following up with Dr. Mahoney for my future care.

Dr. Mahoney is very thorough and thoughtful. He and his PA Casey Howe explain everything and answer all questions. My first surgery went very well, back to all normal activities in 9 weeks. Hopefully this knee will go just as well.I'd recommend Dr. Mahoney to anyone.

I started seeing Dr. Mahoney last Summer and was given An injection in my knee. It seemed to work well but then the second and third injection Just didn't seem to work as well.. So I decided To Do knee replacement surgery 4 weeks ago.. I always heard there'd be a lot of pain but I have had really no pain.. And my range of motion has always been good since I even started physical therapy.. Also I wondered how my incision would look and I think it looks excellent not like some incisions that I've seen from other friends that have had Knee surgery.. All in all I am very pleased with Dr. Mahoney doing my knee surgery. I'll probably be doing my second knee surgery next year. And of course will have Dr. Mahoney do the surgery. Also I would like to add that Casey his PA is very good as well.... And provides very good education and information along the way.

When I first went to him for hip problems, about 2008-onward he was great...his beside manner on first hip 2010 was wonderful, then onward to 2nd hip in 2013...only fair beside manner here...always hurried and watching time both In hospital, and office...as time went forward to present day, his manner and technique has changed dramatically...always rushed and at times rude to visit with...I have felt lime a bother to him rather a patient needing help, which has hurt my feelings .. disappointed

I cannot say enough about Dr. Mahoney, his office, and assistants. The entire operation is top notch. Dr. Mahoney was patient, thorough, and knowledgeable, which made my first operation one in which I had absolutely no fear or hesitation. I went into the meniscectomy knowing exactly what was to happen, and knew exactly what was to be expected in the days after the surgery. No surprises!

He was not only knowledgeable about my problem, but he had a great "bed-side" manner....very courteous, caring, and personable. He was also encouraging, and he had several good recommendations.
