Not Satisfied with outcome of the procedure
?I have contemplated writing this review over months. Dr Pastor is friendly and easy to talk to. I really believe that he cares about his patients. He will also refer for outside care. However, I feel he was “out of his league” caring for my case. I feel if I had immediately been provided with long term oral antibiotics when I first developed an open wound, infection would not have occurred.. My finger would not be deformed and partial amputation of the finger would not have been necessary. I continue to have daily constant pain and deal with the adjustment of an amputated finger. I certainly would recommend not seeing him for anything complicated. I wish I would have insisted antibiotics be given for an open wound at the beginning of my care, but I was not the professional and trusted his training and judgement. I am under the care of an another doctor and would not refer others to him.

Broken Pinky
Dr. Pastor was very professional and my pinky finger was in pretty bad shape after a biking accident. Post surgery I had pins sticking out of my hands for over a month, but after follow up visits and following my physical therapy regimen, I am nearly back to 100%. I think he did an amazing job and i am pain free.

I saw Dr Pastor 3 years ago to have multiple plastic surgeries, not hand surgeries as one would expect, but rather a breast lift/augmentation, abdominoplasty and several others. He was practicing in a clinic I had a long standing association. My nightmare began just after the initial surgery, when my implant dropped several inches. another surgery was performed by Dr P & a senior breast plastic surgeon to correct this. I was charged a fee for the privilege. The excruciating pain (plus the obvious deformity of one of my implants) over the last 3 years have lead me to other specialists and more ER visits than I care to remember. While teaching in Boston (I am an ARNP and DNP, & ashamed I did not research my doctor) 6 weeks ago, I ended up in the ER in so much pain I couldn’t raise my arm, a pain so significant I had a seizure and required a 3 day stay in hospital. You may be asking “well why not just remove them” because to do so would cost $10,000 and then more to fix them.

Dr. Pastor was fantastic. I tore a ligament and broke a bone in my thumb back in August. He has a great bedside manner and was very professional. Dr. Pastor repaired my injury and I am back to work. Thank you Dr. Pastor.

Did a great job with my daughter's hand surgery. She severed the tendon in her pinky, which was probably some pretty delicate work with small tendons. 10 weeks since surgery and her hand is looking great and recovering very nicely.

Went in for a wound check on my finger. I found Dr. Pastor to be pleasant and to the point. Made me feel better in that I had done a good job of taking care and listened to the fact I really disliked the full finger splint, and said at this point could go to what was comfortable to me.

Highly recommended. Dr. Pastor and his staff were friendly and professional making my hand surgery very pleasant. Dr. Pastor explained along the way not only what he was doing but why he was doing it. Although I was nervous at first his confidence and obvious great wealth of knowledge put me at ease. Thank you Dr. Pastor. Shout out to Chelsea. Thank you for making me feel comfortable through the whole surgery.

My experience with Dr Pastor has been very positive. He counseled me through my options on a broken wrist and performed the surgery that I ended up opting for. He took time to explain the procedure to me and has been attentive in post op appointments as well. The outcome from the surgery is looking good as well.

Doctor Pastor treated me for a fractured wrist. The surgery went as well as could be expected after which he kept me updated and informed with what I was going through and what to expect going forward. I thought he was very professional and sympathetic to my concerns. I am very thankful that he was my surgeon and for his help throughout my recovery.
