Terrible ongoing experience
I am a 61 year old woman. I saw Dr. Raberding because the pain in my hands and wrists was making it extremely difficult to do my job in a warehouse. He took x-rays and told me I had arthritis. He was very dismissive of other concerns, saying only 'yep, yep.' He diagnosed a trigger finger on my dominant hand and said the repair was a simple surgery. He would not give me a note for work for the arthritis, despite my job requiring 'pushing, pulling, lifting' and 'constant movement of hands and wrists.' Long story short, he did the trigger finger surgery and it is 100% worse. In layman's terms, it feels perpetually 'jammed' and is extremely painful. I can no longer fully extend or bend it. I have an appointment with a specialist at Bronson, who has ordered an EMG. I couldn't get in to see him until the end of August. Meanwhile, I am unable to work and can't get an extension on my work disability due to my refusal to see Dr R. again who would most likely refuse to excuse me anyway.
