LACK OF FOLLOW UP
I have been dealing with severe upper back, shoulder and neck pain for the past 6 months. The office staff did a horrible job supplying my insurance company the information for treatment and on one occasion forgot to submit the proper information from office visits for 5 weeks to my medicare.

Stay Away! Incompetent and unresponsive
Have been seeing this doctor for about a year for chronic neck pain that I've been dealing with most of my life. I was referred to him by my general care provider and went in for an exam. I have now seen him 10-12 times & he has yet to even look at my neck or back. What he has done is prescribed Pregabalin. Side affect is you CAN NOT stop taking it or the withdrawal symptoms are BAD and could cause death! Last month he has me go from my current does to the max - adding 1 pill a day. This threw off my prescription & by law the pharmacy can't refill with a new prescription explaining why I'm short. After calling his office for a week, they finally called the new scrip in with 1 day of pills left. But they called in the old scrip & pharmacy can't fill early without explanation. Been out of meds and calling office for 2 days with no response from Dr. Withdraw from this drug is horrible & Dr doesn't seem to care or have time to even return my calls. Find someone else!!

Dr. Saran is a jaded pain management doctor whom needs to revaluate why he practices. I went in to see Dr. Craig Saran while waiting surgery. I had onset severe pain and this was my first time seeing a pain management doctor. Dr. Saran failed to order any testing or imaging to see why I was in so much pain- instead he treated me like a drug seeking addict although I was not on any pain meds, nor asked for any. He failed as a doctor which led me to almost 6 months of suffering. Surgery found a large mass and endometriosis. If he had done the bare minimum as a doctor, his job, the mass would've been found sooner and I would've suffered less and paid less with the useless drug test I had to pay for; although, he never prescribed narcotics or opioids. I would suggest women avoid Dr. Saran at all cost.

Absolutely horrible! I was to have a cervical injection due to extreme anxiety I was scheduled for sedation. Never received the sedation was in extreme pain during and after procedure. He had the nerve to tell me that they don't do sedation after completing the procedure. This was my 2nd injection. My 1st dr who was not available to do this injection did do sedation and I had no difficulty. I will not be using this doctor again.

Really terrible experience. The office and Dr Saran were horrible. I’ve seen a lot of Drs for my back, this was the worst. Don’t waste your time because they will definitely waste yours.

Was forced to see Dr Saran after my regular pain doctor moved out of state. I've been in pain management for many years, and have been lectured about pain medication 2 visits in a row. Dr Saran was condescending and did not care about medical history, my charts, every therapy and medication tried. Treated like I was a drug addict despite never abusing medication, not increasing doses, never done drugs, etc.

This man is a rare gem! He is so intelligent and thorough in his work. He explains options completely in lay terms. I am so glad that I was directed to his office and thankful for Dr. Saran's help. He is amazing and deserves an award and a long, successful career! Also, I read my chart after my initial appointment and the recall was impeccable. He submits excellent notes for records that help insurance companies make the right determinations.
