Excellent and Caring Doctor
I first saw Dr Shapero for an ingrown toenail that was extremely painful. Got an appointment the same day and was quickly out of pain. I went back when both feet developed plantar fasciitis. I received injections and excellent orthotics which have helped tremendously. Dr Shapero always explains everything thoroughly and is extremely caring about relieving your pain. He is by far one of the best, nicest and caring doctors I have ever had. I highly recommend him. The office staff is also very nice and helpful, which itself is harder and harder to come by these days.

Exceptional Service
I had a shard of glass in my heelAnd they got me in that afternoon. Dr Shapiro is a true gentleman. He removed the glass and made a quick adjustment on my orthodics.

Highly recommend his entire staff!
49 years in different fields of medicine moving from New York back to New Jersey finding qualified doctors have been a long process. dr. Shapero will be added to my team, as I start this journey of aging! I was impressed with the professionalism of his staff. Not one person had a cell phone in their face!

The best doctor I've ever had!
I have terrible ankle pain. I went to some hotshot orthopedist from Rothman that many recommended. He was awful. Told me to get new sneakers. He showed no interest in helping me feel better. I was miserable. I had to get relief. I heard about Dr Shapero from a friend and made an appointment. He took his time to explain what was wrong with my ankle. He treated me with two remedies that immediately started to work the second I walked out of his office. I haven't felt this good in months and I owe it all to Dr Shapero. He is caring, knowledgeable and outstanding in every way. I can't thank him enough. Highly recommend this fantastic doctor!!

A great office and doctor!
All doctors should take notes from them on how to run a medical office! The woman at the desk introduced herself when I came in and greeted me warmly. She instructed me how to complete the paperwork and didn't make me fill in items for which she already had the information. The paperwork was not repetitive like many other doctor offices (i.e., filling out the same information on 5 different sheets). Copay is taken after check in. I noticed they also sell shoes and slippers in the office.The wait time to see the doctor wasn't excessive. The doctor was very friendly and had great bedside manner, he was calming and explained everything he was doing. He gave me a shot in my foot and talked me through exactly what was happening, even showing me on the foot skeleton what's going on with my ankle and what the shot would do. I am scared of needles, he was very patient with me. He also took a clipping of my nail which has been having issues.Overall a great experience, I recommend!

Best podiatrist in the world
Dr Shapero saved me from getting a toe amputated by a fancy Orthopaedic doctor at Mt Sinai Hospital in New York City. I was in such pain that removal of my toe seemed like the only choice I had. A friend suggested I try Dr Shapero, but since I’d been to numerous other podiatrists seeking pain relief, I was extremely skeptical. Doctor Shapero found the problem right away. I had ingrown toenails on both feet and they were pressing against the nerves in my toes. Once these were removed I was back to normal. Thank you Doctor Shapero for that excellent diagnosis and treatment plan. Now I see Dr Shapero routinely for my diabetic neuropathy. I couldn’t manage without him.
