Worst experience I have ever had with a physician
This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a physician. I came to her after seeing multiple doctors who could not dignose my abdominal pain. She didn't listen to me, never opened my chart to look at the multiple lab tests and scans that I have had. She blamed my pain on my weight. She orderd lab tests that had already been done , which she would have seen if she had opened my chart, and suggested I try yet another form of birth control. She also made it very clear that surgery was out of the question 'I won't be part of castrating a young woman ' What??? Who says that to a woman who is in your office in pain and crying?

Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review but it is well deserved. Everything and everyone in that office is so focused on time that everything feels rush. My checkin process as a new patient was rushed. I was then whisked away for my vitals. The young lady spoke a thousand words per minute and would ask me questions leaving little or no time to respond. For instance, she asked if I was okay after she pricked my finger for an iron sample and then continued on talking about where to sit to wait for the doctor without allowing a word in. Dr. Cyd came in with little to no bedside manner. It all felt like a business transaction with zero warmth. When I asked questions, she seemed unamused answering them. Everything was a rush. When she left out and entered the hallway, I heard her say to her nurse, “Only one more and then we are out of here for the day.” My visit was such a disappointment since she had not only been recommended, but I was hoping to be seen by a doctor of representation. I would not recommend this office to anyone if you would like to be seen with care and treated as if your time matters. If you want little to no interaction with no warmth and depth in conversation, this is the place for you.

WORST EXPEPRIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH AN OBGYN
I have been a patient with AWOG since I moved to GA 4 years ago up until April 2022 when I had the most traumatizing and emotionally damaging experience I've ever had with an OBGYN, specifically Cyd Williams. I have been dealing with the same health concerns for over 2 years now and have seen multiple doctors at this location, NONE of them were able to treat my health concerns. I had seen almost every OBGYN at this practice except for Cyd Williams. My first time seeing her was on April 11, 2022. Cyd Williams entered the room and explained how she noticed I have seen pretty much every doctor at this location and asked how she could help. When I explained my health concerns she began making the same treatment suggestions as everyone else that did not work in the past. I explained to her that I have tried everything she is suggesting and asked if we could try something else. Cyd stated it sounded like I was "challenging" her and that maybe this isn't the best practice for me. Insinuatin

Run. Don’t walk. I experienced years of menstrual pain and begged Dr.Williams to help me. She dismissed me over and over again. Recommending narcotics and even sneered at me “Do you want surgery?” My answer was yes, if that was medically necessary bc I couldn’t go on this way. Hobbled by pain for days at a time, even passing out occasionally. I cried and begged for help and was stunned when she couldn’t care less. I in turn begged my Primary care PA for some help and she gave me some gyno referrals but also ordered a CT. I had emdo stage 4 and my right ovary was so large it was torquing and clearly the cause of extreme pain. Two surgeries later and I feel like a new woman. Dr. Williams was still on my records at the hospital and they asked if I wanted my surgery records shared and I said yes. I hope she read them and remembered who I was. And I hope that she started offering actual medical aid her other patients. I can only hope.

I have been seeing Dr. Williams for almost 20 years. She is wonderful . . . caring ,patient and very well versed in her area of expertise. Her medical assistant, Tisha, is also very caring and responsive. I highly recommend her.

If I could, I would leave 0 stars. I agree with all of the 1 star reviews and wish I had wrote this review sooner. I am also an African American woman who thought it was important to find a doctor who I felt would appreciate my medical concerns and who also looked like me. Dr. Williams is not it! She is very condescending and dismissive. She never listened to any of my concerns during my pregnancy and I feel like it was a huge factor into my losing my baby. Even after going through that trauma, I tried to stick it out with her. She definitely does recommend birth control for everything instead of trying to get to understand/solve the root of issues. Along the lines of other reviewers, I’m not sure that she actually enjoys her job. I will never go to her again or recommend her to anyone that I know.

As an African American woman, it was very important to me to find a doctor who I felt would appreciate my medical concerns and who also looked like me. I have been dissatisfied with all of my appointments with Dr. Williams. She lacks appropriate bed side manner and is condescending. She will just recommend birth control for everything instead of trying to get to understand/solve the root of issues. Along the lines of other reviewers, I’m not sure that she actually enjoys her job. She certainly had never made a visit enjoyable for me and I will not be returning.

Rude, cold, and made me feel dumb about sharing my medical history. I urge you not to go. I did hear there is another Dr. Williams who is an OBGYN and who is kind. Make sure you go to the right Dr. Williams.

She is very condescending and lacks compassion and patience. Hard to tell if she enjoys her job or just shows up for a paycheck. During my pregnancy she tried to force me to get a flu shot after I declined, she was very rough during my pelvic exam (the woman literally exhaled loudly bc I tensed up due to pain), & she dismissed my concerns about a recurring infection I had. Save yourself the trouble & see a different doctor.

I was seen by Dr. Williams who was on the schedule that day actually my first time meeting her but it would be an important meeting since we were going to discuss labor and delivery plans. I had met with 3 other doctors during scheduled rotation and I had no problem with meeting another one but I was a bit taken away with her condescending tone and approach when explaining these very important options with me. Very disappointing and nothing worse than a doctor that lacks compassion.

I would recommend Dr Williams. She is an excellent listener and tries not to leave any stones unturned when it comes to determining what is happening with your health. The only thing that needs improvement would be the amount of time spent with her patients.

I felt rushed and was treated in a dismissive and condescending way. After examining me, she acted like it was a bother and it seemed like she couldn't wait to get me out of the exam room. Absolutely the worst treatment I have received from an OB/GYN.
