Dr. Cynthia Dreyer, MD

Dr.Dreyer seems to be experienced and knowledgeable but appointments are extremely brief.She seems pretty uninterested in answering questions or talking over any concerns. Her focus is narrow.She gives the impression of being rather burned out!

Unfortunately I have lots of experience in dermatology offices due to overexposure to the sun as a child, and I do not recommend this dermatology office if you have a choice. The office environment is formal and the front office staff is off-putting. The feeling I get after multiple visits is: the provider is the expert, my skin is part of the expert's domain, and I am merely a passive patient conditionally allowed to participate in the process of care at the expert's convenience, provided that I follow the expert's instructions exactly. It's very old school and not in a good way. I don't expect warm and fuzzy and I know dermatology services are in demand, but still I expect a provider who will listen and I can trust. This office is medically competent I suppose, but there's where it ends. (One note: all my visits were with one provider, a PA, and not Dr. Dreyer herself).

She listens to concerns & is very thorough. She is very friendly, which makes it easy to open up.

Dr. Dreyer has helped me aggressively treat my severe chronic psoriasis. Her staff are pros at working with insurance prior authorizations.

I've seen Dr. Cynthia for several issues through the years and she's great. I had a breast cyst removed, Basal Cell Carcinoma on my face removed and ear cyst removed in her office. Very caring, skilled and professional. She listens to all concerns, is patient and explains conditions and procedures in laymens terms. I've never felt rushed, very friendly. She gets down to business once you have a plan of action. I highly recommend her for any Dermatology needs.

I have been very pleased with the care I have received in this practice. Dr. Dreyer is intelligent, well-educated, experienced, thoughtful, patient and kind. I could not ask for more. She has been a blessing in my life as she helped my with severe psoriasis, working with me and my specialist at OHSU. Her staff is also wonderful. They are kind, efficient and polite. A few have great senses of humor, a real plus! This is THE best dermatology office!

I have been Dr. Dryer's patient for over 30 years. She and her entire staff are incredible. I've also seen several of her PAs and they are all thorough, professional and attentive. When they have a question or concern, they consult with Dr. Dreyer immediately. I have recommended Dr. Dreyer to a number of family and friends and all have been completely satisfied.

Each time I called I wanted to be scheduled to see the doctor. They insist that you see a PA and if they need help then they will get the doctor. The office always smells of cigarettes when I go there. The nursing staff is weird and rude.

Very good service. Dr. Dryer is a very pleasant person and professional in every way. I would recommend Dr. Dryer to anyone that needs a Dermatology visit. Thankyou.
