Dr. Cynthia Lamour, DO

Dr. Lamour has continually provided less than suitable medical care to two of my family members. She has advised one that due to her age that she does not need to have mammogram testing and that she no longer needs to take the meds that her previous physician and cardiologist have prescribed. For the other, a newly diagnosed cancer patient she has not ordering the tests needed by the cancer center in order to establish the patient. Her office staff is not responsive and when you are able to speak with them they are dismissive and defensive of the practice; indicating that these are our policies. Both of my family members are being advised to seek a new PCP and to leave the Long Neck Beebe Medical Group practice.

Avoid at all cost. Her office failed to convey time sensitive lab results. Her office constantly reschedules appointments. It take months to get an appointment. Once you finally meet her, she does not have a good bedside manner and is demeaning when relaying important medical information. She is dismissive about medical concerns and comes across as unconcerned, not empathetic and extremely rude. Moving to DE it was hard to find a physician. The system assigned me this doctor. I am seeking a new doctor.

Dr Lamour is very patient and thorough. I didn't feel rushed during my visit, she spent the time answering my questions and was very attentive and reassuring.

Dr. Lamour is very thorough and quick to refer if you feel you want to see a specialist.
