Dr. Cyril Kuriakose, MD

Dr. K is an exceptional doctor. It is directly because of his guidance that I was able to get a kidney transplant and be completely healthy post three years. There are a small number of doctors that truly practice medicine the way Dr. Kuriokose does, with care, intelligence and an open mind about what is best for the patient. He always listened and I owe my second chance in life partially to him. Anyone who is under the care of this doctor, will truly be in great hands. -Justin Gutierrez

Dr. K was my physician for almost 10 years, in that time he supported me medically and emotionally through the progression of my kidney disease, through dialysis, until I finally received a transplant. He always took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had and genuinely cared about me and always asked about my family. At the conclusion of our appointments we would share stories and pictures of our kids. Dr. K was my doctor but I also considered him my friend, I've never had that in a physician before. Dr. K nursing and office staff are also exceptional. After reading the negative comment left for him, I can't help but think they have the wrong doctor. I can't imagine Dr. K ever acting in the manor they described. Even when Dr. K got frustrated with me, he ALWAYS treated me with kindness and respect. I am absolutely heartbroken that he has moved out of state, there will never be another Dr. K.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kuriakose for the last 4 years. He has been a wonderful doctor and very kind and empathetic. I continue to see him even though I live 2 hrs. away from his office because he is very knowledgeable and supportive of me in my care since my kidney transplant. I hate people making reviews and saying horrible things about a doctor after they had one bad experience with a doctor. May be the patient was having a bad day and taking that out on a doctor? Writing a book report after reading one page of the book, please! I hope other patients are not swayed by a solitary rant about a doctor and make their decisions. Dr. Cyril Kuriakose is a type of doctor who doesn't study the patients chart before encounter. He has a very hostile style toward patients and very poor communication skills explaining patients concerns. In my first encounter with this doctor he answered a few concerns in an Angry, defensive, fatigued, harried, dogmatic, or arrogant manner.
