The Best!
I have been with Dr Tawa for almost 20 years. He is caring, conversant and totally competent. He saved my life in an emergency situation. Of all the Drs. I deal with, I trust him the most. I know he has my good health in mind. No better around!

I am waiting on having an MRI, but it has been delayed because Methodist MRI center is waiting a report sent to Doctor Tawa a week ago about my pacemaker. I cannot have the test until he returns the report.

Terrible doctor!!!! My father's kidney function and aortic aneurysm worsened under this doctor's management. Patients beware. All he does is take a lot of tests.

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE, HOUSTON IS FULL OF OP RATED CARDILOGIST!!! I was a client for over 10 years and recently my dad became ill and passed and I could not afford my prescription, so I asked for some samples to hold me over for a while for high blood pressure, because I was obviously very stressed. He office said no, I had to pay for a appointment even though I was there less then a year ago. No compassion and heartless (sad since he is a heart Dr)!!!!

He has been more than wonderful, as has Angie. He arranged for my husband to get a new heart valve, he was not a candidate for open chest procedure. The lotus was implanted in 1/2017 on a trial, with the best doctors available. We are more than thankful.

The office treats you like a number, waiting could be up to 45 min and then you do not always get seen by a Dr. You get seen by his PA. Angie the PA is great! Office staff / Dr are not caring or helpful!

Dr. Tawa has cared for my husband and myself for close to 20 years. He has seen us through grave illnesses and good times. His skill and fund of knowledge give him the ability to care for varied illnesses and conditions. I will always trust his judgement. I recommend him and his staff highly.

Dr. Tawa is an excellent doctor. I have been seeing him for years. I am a Medical Professional who has worked with him for years as well as being under his care. The problem you will have is with his answering service. There is one girl in particular named Ranessa. She is very condescending from the moment she picks up the phone. She talks to you like you are an idiot who doesn't understand your condition or your insurance. She is a dark cloud on this practice.

Dr. Tawa is a good physician but the WHOLE experience of over an hour wait time, no call backs for questions asked, over two weeks to get test results was ridiculous. I raised my concerns and questions regarding poor staff replies, wait times, etc and received a letter in the mail stating that I was Tawa would no longer see me as a patient. I had been a patient for over 10 years. If you want to see this group of MD's - just remember they don't take criticism lightly and retaliate.
