7 years ago, I suffered from stroke symptoms, bleeding on the left side of my brain, and speaking incorrectly. Dr. Thanks to Rheem's prescriptions, I am now normal and living a stable life, for which I am very grateful.

Very rude and disrespectful Dr. and staff.
I waited for over 90 mins to be seen. Throughout I asked the receptionist how long it would be and was told 5-10 mins. They never told me the Doctor was running late. After 90 mins I told the staff that I felt very disrespected. After another 5 mins the Doctor came to see me. I told him I was upset at the wait and he told me I should find another Doctor. I was not offered an apology the entire time. With a 60 minute round trip to and from the office I wasted 3 hours of my time away from work. The lack of any kind of responsibility or apology is unacceptable. I would avoid this Doctor at all costs.

So thankful for Dr. Rheem. After he did endoscopy on my dad, he found out my dad’s artery to his heart is clogged and ureter is blocked. He ordered CT of abdomen and found out my dad had big kidney stone. And now my dad is being treated at ER for the clogged artery which was close to 100% being clogged. He also diagnosed my dad’s stomach as precancerous and prescribed medication that will protect him from getting cancer and changed his cholesterol meds with a better cholesterol medication he was previously taking. He saved my dad from 3 severe health issues. My dad didn’t have obvious symptoms, so without Dr. Rheem’s diagnosis, he would have been in a lot of trouble Thank you so much Dr. Rheem for all your help!!!

This is on behalf of my mom who was referred to this Dr. in hopes of someone who would LISTEN and practice medicine, NOT MONEY MONGERING. Upon her first visit, he ordered so many tests (ones she had already taken) and FOR WHAT?! Think we all know the answer: $$$. She's in good health and doesn't need all these unnecssary tests. Her other complaint was that he is so unable to LISTEN to the patient and actually will dismiss you and not respond to your questions. Poor bedside manners for sure. Lastly, the office is very unorganized. They overbook and you will wait way too long to see the doctor. Our advice is to find someone else. You're just a money maker here.

I came to Dr. Rheem's clinic for my chronic diarrheal illness. The facility was clean and well-organized. Though I waited for Dr. Rheem for some time, when he showed up, he was down to earth and listened carefully to my concerns. The following week, I had a comfortable colonoscopy. Afterwards, he explained the colon findings and focused on why and how I have the Crohn's. I felt I had enough time to ask questions and hear about treatment plans. He's my GI doc now.

DO NOT GO! At my first visit, he started tapping my abdominal area and said I might have lung cancer, liver problems, stomach cancer,,etc. He scares his patients winding up them having more tests.(MONEY) Most of his patients are elderly people(easy to scare) I had 9 am appint. for EGD, I waited 3 hours. Then, he stopped me asking him a very basic explanation about the symptoms I am having after EGD. This doc. never gives enough explanations what possibly cause the symptom, not even a star worth

A lot of people posted their complaints, but when I went to see Dr. Rheem, I was satisfied with the result of his treatment. He is very knowledgeable and kind to his patients. I had mid size polyps in my colon that other GI doctor couldn't find and Dr. Rheem found it and referred me to a big hospital to remove it. I am very grateful for his treatment.

Doesn't seem to care about whether or not the patient understands all of the information he's sharing. He touches and engages in physical bodily checkups without saying a single word to indicate that he will now begin to do so. 80% of my visit with him comprised of a lecture on cigarette smoking, which I understand he must do as a counseling mechanism, but it was a LECTURE. As a result I wasn't able to talk to him about my issues, he just sent me off for testing.

This was my first visit and I went in to see the Dr. After waiting over an hour I still never saw him. I was seen only by an RN. Very disappointing! The Dr. even saw patients that came in after me. Yet, they still wanted to schedule me for a procedure even though I never met or spoke to the Dr.
