Great doctor. Great facility w friendly staff and well experienced doctor that understands her patient needs ! Just amazing

All of a sudden, both my eyes became very red and irritating, and I was panic and helpless. Based on a last-minute request, Dr. Zhu squeezed me into her busy schedule. Her diagnosis and the medication she prescribed released my uncomfortableness, concerns, and worries. She then followed with an email to remind me how to take care of my eyes. Dr. Zhu and her staff of Dr. Liang and Evelyn's professional, friendly, and caring work made me feel supported, comfortable, and relax during my visit to their office. What teamwork! In addition, Dr. Zhu specializes in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. Her expertise is backed by her education, training, and qualifications from UCLA, Harvard, Stanford, and USC to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. This is awesome!! When getting older, most people eventually need cataract surgery to restore vision. When the time comes, I definitely would like to have Dr. Zhu take care of me. My dad was losing his vision from cataracts. When it comes to eyes, I wanted to make sure he had the best. Dr. Zhu is one of the top surgeons in the country, trained at Harvard and all the top hospitals, so I knew we were in good hands. She even speaks Chinese which my dad really appreciated! Even though her services were not covered by my dad’s insurance, I wanted him to have the extra safety and precision that comes with laser-assisted cataract surgery. She told us his surgery was high-risk because of how dense his cataracts were, but luckily everything went perfect and he’s now seeing so much better and is so much happier. We are forever grateful to Dr. Zhu.

I am so grateful to Dr. Zhu for restoring my sight to 20/20. I had an accident in my right eye and developed a bad cataract. 2 years ago, she removed that cataract and had to glue in a new lens using a complicated procedure because of the trauma I had. I went from seeing shadows to 20/20 vision. When I started having problems with my left eye, I of course went back to her and she did my left eye cataract surgery last week and now I’m 20/20 there too! God bless you Dr. Zhu!

I’m typing this now with 20/15 vision. So glad I went with Dr. Zhu. She trained at the best (Harvard). I wasn’t sure about LASIK but I’m so happy I took the plunge. It’s honestly life changing. Thank you Dr. Zhu! I’ve already referred friends and family.

This is best and most underrated place to get LASIK in LA. With other offices, you'll pay more and get worse results. Dr. Zhu has top credentials (Harvard MD, did her fellowship at the #1 place in the country for ophthalmology). She also has the latest and best equipment. I got LASIK this year after wearing glasses/contacts my whole life. Best thing I've done this year and wish I did it years ago! Before getting LASIK I did exhaustive research and asked around my firm for referrals. They mostly referred me to these practices in Beverly Hills that seemed way overpriced. Also, the doctors there were "established" (read: old). I'd rather have someone experienced but still at the height of her physical and mental powers. Recovery was super easy and I was at more than 20/20 the next day. Would recommend LASIK for anyone, esp. with Dr. Zhu!
