Dr. Dahlia Reid, MD

I see that I'm not the only one with a terrible experience. I waited 2 1/2 hours to be seen and she came in the room with no sense of caring what so ever. Did'nt take the time to really understand my symptoms before just throwing antibiotics at the problem. I was crying because I was frustrated with being given no answers and she showed ZERO compassion or bedside manner. She basically handed me the prescriptions and walked off. No "I hope you feel better" or anything. She is the worst!!!

Dr. Reid is the loveliest doctor and I look forward to meeting with her when I have a health issue or general check up. The wait times can vary in the office from being seen very promptly to 45-60 minute wait. This is no different from most doctors I have visited and so I plan my appointments around that time frame.

I understand how difficult the job of being a doctor can be; that said, even when giving the benefit of the doubt that it was an “off day,” Dr. Reid was cold, not compassionate, not attentive or interested in anything I had to share about my symptoms, keen to counter anything I did say and at best combative when asked for an extra minute to explore other solutions besides the anti-nausea medication she prescribed that have never historically worked for me for whatever reason (which she would have known if she had listened to anything I had said). Overall I just did not feel as though she was treating me as an individual as much as she was trying to get another generic patient back out the door. It was very frustrating considering the pain I was in and that I had to insist on certain solutions that I know had worked previously just for her to order them. I simply could never recommend anyone see this doctor as you will not receive thoughtful, personalized care.

Terrible listener. Medicated me with a medicine to cause me to gain weight when I was in the last stages of my weight management classes for my bariatric surgery which caused me to have to repeat the full 6 months process again. Wouldn't refer me to see an endocrinologist as I requested so I can have my thyroid looked at further. Rushes in & out to see patients.
