she seems rushed every time i see her; if i have questions about certain issues i am having she shows very little interest, never has any advice, and if she has advice it is not to take the medication that may help the ailment; she NEVER reads the psych evaluation i am required to fill out in the beginning; she checked my breasts and that was it; and is pedantic with regard to things like birth control. i am close to 50! in addition, her comments on perimenopause were "you will just have to get through it" what does that mean? no advice, no books to read, no recommendations. when my blood work came back i get a call from the nurse who basically tells me i need to alter some things but when i asked what would happen if i don't; she said the doctor didn't tell her that. what? so i am supposed to take vague advice for my health--and no one can tell me why?

I have already reviewed her on Google. I am aware that the office & practice might not be so bad. But, Dr Mead is rude and unprofessional. Whose responsibility is this? How disappointing

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Mead. She's a bit shy and to the point, but was not at all rude or dismissive. I would recommend her.

Dr. Mead’s bedside manner is definitely lacking. I have a couple of chronic health conditions that I wanted to discuss in detail with her on my first visit. However she really did not listen and was not the least bit interested in hearing what I had to say. She didn’t ask any questions and was brusk and unfriendly. She was very dismissive of my concerns, and seriously questioned my knowledge of and past treatments for these conditions. I will continue to look for a new primary care physician.

I've seen Dr. Mead twice in the last month and I'm impressed with her medical knowledge and her ability to put me at ease. My issue isn't resolved, but she is persistent in helping find the cause and recommend the tests that may provide a diagnosis. Both Dr. Mead and her assistant, Alexis have treated me with the utmost care and respect. Returning phone calls and providing information on test results have been timely. Dr. Mead makes me feel like we are a team and that I'm not going this alone.

Dr. Mead seems to be completely unaware of the importance of being empathetic with patients. She focused exclusively on problem-solving and didn't seem to care at all about my sense of shock and overwhelm in response to her diagnosis.

Not helpful and poor bed side manner. Know it all and not sure if she even read the charts when making her outlandish prognosis.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Mead, unlike previous reviewers have noted. She was both friendly and professional. She asked a lot of questions, taking the time to listen and provide feedback. I felt confident in her assessment of my health issue and her subsequent recommendations as a knowledgeable physician.

Not only is she rude, unfriendly and judgemental but I went in for my yearly pap smear and I am not exaggerating when i say that i almost passed out from the pain. I was not even close to being on my period and ended up bleeding for two days after the pap smear. I'm not sure what went wrong but it was incredibly painful and had a longer lasting effect that certainly wasn't healthy. Not only was I uncomfortable but also in excruciating pain for something so simple.

I wanted to see a different physician, but I needed an immediate appointment so I saw Dr. Mead as her schedule had an opening. I found the entire experience unpleasant. She was rude, abrupt, and completely unfriendly. I won't go back.

Wow! The most unfriendly Dr. I've ever met. Compassion - Zero. Progressive Knowledge - Poor. Interest in building a relationship - negative. No handshake. No smile. I can't believe she is still practicing with her bedside manner. No wonder it was easy to get an appt! Run for your life before subjecting yourself to this ice queen who was judgmental, left me in tears, feeling bad about myself. And, no, there was no excuse for her behavior as I am a fellow professional. Wish I'd seen this site 1st
