Excellent eye care. He was able to determine the reason for the temporary loss of my sight after I was bitten by a tick and to provide follow up care to stabilize the eye.

Today, 05/17/23 I visited Dr Chun work with "The retina group of Washington" located at TYSONS office. I was so grateful to God to connect me with such great kind rare doctor Who actually seem to care for patient. Not only he pleasantly greeted me with Korean speak when he walked into room. (because I'm Korean:) He was the most gentle, considerate, kind doctor who had positive compassionate, comforting care and answered my question with positive kind confident manner. At other location Willow oak Fairfax location, I've been treated as tossed out patient with 3 different doctors. Doctor Bernstein, Melamud, Levinson. They all did not have compassion for patient's desperate needs or concerns, but negative , discouraging, had me keep coming back to just talked me out of any possibility of getting treatment. And they all are supposedly best doctors?? I surely do not agree! Comes down to it, its all about how quickly they get access to insurance. If you got good insurance, you get treat it

Dr. Chun is very thorough and studies my test results closely. He gives me the facts and is encouraging to me as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr Chun is very professional and thorough, and has a pleasant personality. The staff is also pleasant and competent. The problem is that they take too long to take you in, and leave you waiting too long before seeing the doctor! The efficiency could be improved significantly.

I have been seeing Dr. Chun for one year. He immediately diagnosed the issue with my eye which had been previously misdiagnosed and he operated on my eye in less than a month. At every visit Dr. Chun is professional, he is kind and he is extremely competent. I trust him implicitly which is rare for me to do with a medical professional.

absolutely awful. Because I was moaning when he put the instrument in my eye to keep it open, he said "I can't do it. Find another doctor" Is this a way to treat a patient? He didn't leave. I just sat in the chair because I needed the treatment. He is awful. I said to him, you sit in the chair and I'll pinch your eye and see how much it hurts. H did not answer. I would definitely not recommend him to anyone. He gives the Retina Group of Washington a bad name.
