Keen Eye and Expert Knowledge
Ouch, kidney stone. I had three CT scans. Dr. Dawson saw a problem with my pancreas. Dr. Kolodny did not find the same. He was evaluator of two of the three CT Scans.I pursued the matter with my PCP who ordered another test to see if my pancrease was doing its work exocrinely. Sure enough my PCP found the same as did Dr. Dawson. I was prescribed pancrelipase as my pancrease appeeared not to be producing enough enzymes for proper digestion of my food intake. Dr. Ullah of URMC GI confirmed the same by endoscopy. He immediately increased the dosage of said med. Now, after 40 plus years I am relieved of what had been diagnosed by Dr. L. Antignano as SIBO. I now poop a normal BM. WOW.Much Thanks pto my PCP, Dr. K. Chin, along with the watchful radiologist, Dr. Damien Dawson for their expert care and diagnostic abilities. What a life changing experience to once again POOP like I did before my pancrease went afoul. Thanks to Great Young Docs. Dave Smth is grateful. Love'm.
