Blocked from doctor by office manager,
Had no experience because his office manager refused me an appointment after my insurance recommended him. She said because 2 plus years ago my primary quit the business and I was to be referred to someone I never heard about and never got referral for. She seemed quite rude and had n understanding of the situation. With that said I feel i would never be happy no matter if Dr Boggus is good or bad, that employee is bad.

Unbelievably Bad
I'm 71 years old and have seen many doctors. This is absolutely the worst office ever. They put you on hold forever when you call. My first visit I did not see the doctor, I saw the NP ( not good on 1st visit), They make appointments at places that are walk in only, so you have to sit there for hours. I asked for a specific place to go, and they refused. They make appointments and don't tell you. When I tried to cancel my next appointment, they said that my insurance would not allow the cancellation, so I called my insurance company and the rep actually laughed. Be warned.

Choose him
I was a crane operator in Washington, DC 31 years and never went to doctors. Drove school bus in Umatilla 19 years and found a good doctor (Yoganand) who didn’t go beyond what is necessary. When I retired 5 years ago I asked him to recommend a doctor. One name he gave me: Dan Boggus. I’m glad he did!

I love everything about Dr. Boggus. He knows how to produce the results that are wanted or needed. Some day I will tell you what I don't like about him if I can ever think of something.

You've lost touch part II
Update... My father has been forced to remain a patient with this office. There are no other geriatric family doctors taking new patients that are NOT in a group. He had a follow up appointment today and the only thing they were concerned about was "why are you still here" because they read my review from Feb 10 and apparently are perfectly okay with losing patients after DECADES of being under the care of Dr. Dan Boggus. 24 hour heart monitor results from Dec, still unknown. It was also mentioned to him that "he should probably see Dr. Dan this time?" but they put him with the P.A. instead so "we'll let you see him next time" WOW! Also, they do not allow anyone in with the patient even if you are the LEGAL guardian of that patient. I am my father's LEGAL POA and his HCPOA. They have the papers and they still refuse to let me go in with him. They claim it is an Aegis Medical Group policy. They tell us he has to have a diagnosis of Dementia before I can go in with him.

Dr. Boggus has treated my entire family for as long as I can remember. He is very friendly and has a good bedside manner. He has never thrown medicine at me for a fix if there was another way to treat the issue. I would highly recommend Dr. Boggus!

He makes you feel like he is there for “you” not the system, no feeling of being rush, likes when you ask questions, still a human being and treats you like one. Listens and explains where you can understand

My first visit i did not see the doctor i saw his pa who told me that they ;like to keep everything "in house", and that i should always come there and not to go to any urgent care or emergency room. I have a rare auto-immune disease that affects my skin. Only 5% of people in the world have this and took 8 months to even find out what it was. Most dermatoligists do not no how to treat it so my insurance company has been giving me overrides for years t in his to go out of network but Dr. Boggus would not approve it and said i should be treated at his office. He values office visits more than my health. DO NOT GO TO HIM HE IS A QUACK. If i could rate him -100 i would.

Doctor is intimidated by insurance company and therefore orders unnecessary tests and procedures. Staff is condescending and obnoxious. Absolutely cannot recommend.
