Dr. Dana Chaykin-Glover, DO

I began to see Dr. Dana after a moving to Florida. I was having a series of mysterious symptoms that were destroying my health. After multiple visits and begging Dr. Dana to look deeper at my symptoms with more thorough blood tests or possibly an MRI, she said nothing indicated I needed more investigation. I continued to develop worsening severe edema in my entire body and she told me I was “fat”, after never being overweight my whole life. I finally went to a new General Provider who took me seriously. They ran thorough blood tests and found that I had chronic Epstein Barr virus and an ongoing inner ear infection that led to a brain abscess. I was loosing my hearing and struggling with my speech due to the brain abscess. Now I am at the University of Florida hospital trying to heal my chronic illness and brain abscess surgery. Dr. Dana is dismissive and does not look deeper into your problems. If you need more healthcare than general high blood pressure medication, go somewhere else.

Extremely caring and knowledgeable physician.

After being treated by Dr. Dana Chaykin Glover for over six years I feel like I am in good hands. I have been through a number of health problems that required close checkups and extra diligence. She has been insightful and acts fast to get me treated by specialists as well as treat me herself. I just appreciate her so much. She takes the time to get to know her patients. Twice now, she has made the time for me to get treated in her office. I love her nurse Holly as well. The staff are very special to know, too.

Dr. Dana is a caring and thorough physician. My daughters and myself go to her and I feel that she provides exceptional care. One of my daughters has a developmental disability and Dr. Dana speaks to her in a kind, professional manner and explains things to her on her level. That is greatly appreciated. She is personable as well. The office staff is helpful and professional as well. We have been going here for more than 5 years.

Dr. Chaykin-Glover treats you like a person, not just a case file. Best of all, she knows I know I should lose weight and she never mentions it. So refreshing!

She is self important, arrogant and right down rude so was her staff. I won't be going back. If I could give her zero stars, I would.

She spent time, listend to me and took action as needed. At a later date she was attentive with a video call and her office stays in contact and aids in follow-up.

I've been seeing Dr. Dana Chaykin-Glover for over 10 years and have always found her to be attentive, patient, caring and knowledgeable.

If you are looking for a full-time physician, she is not the doctor for you. If a need to see her arises on one of her days off, you will be referred to Urgent Care. The phone system is not user friendly. It is difficult to reach a "live" operator and messages are not returned promptly. There seems to have been a lot of turnover in office staff. Current staff is noticeably less cheerful and friendly. She provides competent care but the entire operation needs to improve patient relations.

She always is very thorough and courteous! Always addresses all my questions and goes over test results with me and recommends other excellent Dr.'s for your needs!

Dr. Chaykin-Glover does not follow up on lab reports and does not want to bother personally calling a patient to discuss lab results or questions a patient may have about those results. Even after requesting via the portal that she call at her convenience, she has her office manager call you and plays go between you and the doctor. She doesn't want to be bothered by her patients or questioned by them. Poor medical service.
