Dr. Dana Homer, MD

We had an absolute disaster here. They spent weeks sending us back and forth late in pregnancy and never returning phone calls. We called every single day and then after saying they would accept us as patients over and over they said it was too late (because of their delays) and we would have to start all over with another practice. Extremely irresponsible doctors and their scheduling system is separate so it’s all out of sync. The people answering the phone are not directly working with the doctors and they are unhelpful, do not know anything about our case, and just kept repeating the scripted lines over and over.I highly recommend trying any other doctor because this has been a huge mistake for us.

Let me begin by saying I saw Dr. Homer for back to back pregnancies (miscarriage and current). Overall, Dr. Homer lacked greatly in clear communication and urgency knowing that I am a high risk pregnancy. The office books you for sonograms and when you get there they tell ypu they do not know if you can get it because they have to many ppl booked. So therefore I have to take time off of work to come back for something I was scheduled for. Then knowing i had a misscariage and that we were trying to confirm a pregnancy you would think the Dr. would try and think of how I to do best for my client. Because at the end of the day that is what WE ARE not the insurance. If my husband hadn't asked to listen to the heartbeat that would never have been offered. You are treated as and in-n-out service here by Dr. Homer.

Amazing doctor throughout my pregnancy and post-pregnancy. It's funny how I was originally scared and hesitant to have a male doctor but once he became one of my OBs, I always asked him! He is so clear and patient and knowledgeable. Amazing doctor!

I was really impressed with him. I’ve seen many gyns and never had one who was this understanding, helpful and gentle. He made me feel comfortable discussing and showing embarrassing issues and took tons of time to explain everything and make sure I felt good upon leaving. He even said he’ll personally call with results from a test. He’s an incredible doctor.

Dr Homer, is a exceptional professional, when you are with him, you really feel he care about your health. I highly recommend Dr Homer.

Literally, the best ! He’s my good ole southern partner and he is nothing short of amazing ! This is my second pregnancy with him and I am not nervous about one single thing because I know I am in the best hands possible ! Thank you for always being so kind, so thoughtful and so well informed. He always listens and understands that my needs may differ from the next mom and he’s ok with that. Dr. Homer is the best and he is adored by our whole family .

I went in with my husband for our first visit. I originally called to book an appointment with another doctor but Dr. Homer was available on the day I need and I’m so glad he was. My husband was even impressed by how great Dr. Homer was. We can’t wait to continue out pregnancy with him.

Dr. Homer is nothing short of amazing. He is a great doctor and is very straight forward about everything. He is very well informed and up to date with his patients and gets things done quickly. Having the option to choose the doctor that I want to deliver my baby, I chose him because I trust him 100% with my eyes closed. Definitely go see him!

Dr. Homer has been my doctor for seven years and will never change! He has excellent bedside manners and actually listens to what your concerns are. He is the best gynecologist in Miami.

I cannot ask for a better doctor with my second pregnancy after having a bad experience and a loss of a pregnancy prior to this one. He takes his time to talk and explain everything and he is very honest as well.

Dr. Homer is very kind and has excellent bedside manner. He was kind enough to see me even though I was 40 minutes late. He did not rush his examination and was thorough. I would definitely recommend Dr. Homer to others.

Great doctor! He reviewed my chart before meeting with my husband and I at our OB appointment and asked us about our IVF journey. He explained every step during my labor and really made us feel calm during the entire process. Our family is now complete and we are so thankful that he was the doctor to bring our son into this world.

Dr. Homer is an extremely AMAZING doctor. Very professional and cool guy. He is very caring and knowledgeable making sure you leave his office informed and comfortable. He delivered my 5th child via c-section. it was the smoothest procedure I’ve had and that was my 4th c-section. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
