Dr. Danalynn Guasteferro, MD

My experience was great. Her and her staff are awesome. She answered my questions. I feel confidant she is leading me down the road to recovery. She did more for me in one (1) visit than then previous five (5) visits to my foot doctor. I will not be going back to my original doctor. I am going to let Dr. Guasteferro get me to where I need to be.

Dr. Guasteferro should seriously take a look at her office staff. She cut on my husband's toe yesterday and said she would call in a prescription for an antibiotic. Went by the drug store 3 hours later, no prescription. Several weeks ago she was supposed to call in a prescription. My husband was to come back several weeks later to see if it was working. We kept going by the drug store and no prescription. My husband called her office 3 different times. Their answer was check again, I think they should have it now." No! They still did not get it. Then she says the prescription went to Pelham, AL. We live in Pell City, AL. Finally, the day before he goes back to the doctor, the drug store gets the information. My husband just called Dr. Guasteferro's office to tell them he did not get the prescription she ordered yesterday and the girl threw the doctor under the bus. Said the doctor hadn't given her the information. We don't know who to believe. We just do not want an infection to occur.

I love the doctor and all her staff and followed her from when she was with Southview. My only problem I have now is that she takes no appointments after 2:00 which for me is an inconvenience. I wish she would consider having at least one day that she perhaps comes in at 12 and stays till 6 for those of us whose work schedules and coverage is challenging. I have recommended her to many friends and would hate to start the journey over for a good podiatrist for myself.
