Drr. Burzon and his staff were rude to me at a vulnerable time when I was consulting about a urology issue. His chairside manner was atrocious. He yelled at me for being modest about my incontence concerns.

WORST DOCTOR IN NJ
Dr. Burzon is the most rude medical “professional” I have ever visited. His ego is much bigger than his medical advice. He instantly scoffed at the patient’s symptoms and told me to “stop looking on the internet,” immediately discrediting other doctors I have visited. No professionalism or capability to help and empathize with his patients, one who he has lost immediately. He also threatened to take away my prescription when he was called out for being rude. His front desk ladies are also rude and disrespectful.GO ANYWHERE ELSE. WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

Good doctor…recommend.
I’ve seen some complaints here and elsewhere…it’s unfortunate that others have had a bad experience with Dr. Burzon, but I have zero complaints. He’s direct but thorough (with a good sense of dry humor to boot), he presents you with more than adequate details and potential outcomes for your condition and he outlines all possible treatment options, leaving the choice up to you. I suspect that if a course of action really needs to be taken he is a little more forceful about it, but I did not feel for one moment in two visits that I was forced to make any one decision about what path I need to take. For what it’s worth, I will seek a second opinion as a matter of due diligence anyway (what sensible person wouldn't?) but it is in no way a reflection on the experience I have had so far with this doctor. Feel free to make your own decisions, I can only relay my dealings with him so far and they have been very positive (and this likewise extends to his staff). Recommended.

Warning this office REFUSES to fill out papers for interim family leave. FMLA law. Despite several test and appointments and referral for surgery to another doctor in the same office. FMLA Iaw protects you from getting fired for taking off time for medical appointments. Their refusal to fill out those forms can put your job at risk. I’m now looking for a new doctor and surgeon one that cares about the patient and not just money.

Treated a family member of mine/ did multiple $$$$ procedures . when he was in severe pain for a kidney stone, (less than 24 hrs after being in the office for a procedure) told him to go the ER during a pandemic. Terrible advice and negligent treatment.

Had back MRI that revealed bladder problems. I received conflicting information from the Dr versus primary care and was not happy with overall discussion of what was required for the exams and why. I decided it was wise to get a second opinion. Do not plan on returning.

I recently went for an appointment with Dr. Burzon after going to the emergency room and being diagnosed with a bad uti and kidney stones. I had never met Dr. Burzon before so naturally I was a little nervous. He reccomended a ereteroscopy because he wasn't convinced the Er diagnosis was 100% accurate. Thank god he did bc he found what the er said was a 4mm stone actually being an 8mm stone that was stuck. He knew how nervous I was and he was very compasionate. I would highly recommend him!

I had a kidney stone 1.1cm and was in the hospital waiting for a stint. He advised me that since his group did not take my insurance, they shouldn't do the procedure, that I should find another urologist and take care of it on an outpatient basis. He also warned that if he did put in the stint, I'd have trouble finding another urologist who would want to handle my case from that point forward. He let me leave the hospital with a potentially life threatening stone and he didn't care.
