Unusual Sinus Infection ID’d
Dr. Chelliah was very helpful identifying Ecoli as the pathogen responsible for a chronic pattern of sinus infections that precipitated two sinus surgeries. The surgeries were necessary for additional reasons but it was Dr. Chelliah that got me off an antibiotic merry go round.

A great doctor
Dr. Chelliah is very specific and cautious about medications use and takes care of patients like they were his own family members. He’s my mother’s main infectious disease doctor during her CCU stay at El Camino Hospital, Mountain View. No other infectious disease doctor anywhere would have taken care of my mom the way he did. He is very kind and compassionate and humble and commands truly excellent technical capabilities.

Terrible practice
Makes a diagnosis without ever seeing me. Refuses to see me. Doesn't even inform me of the diagnosis. Meanwhile the infection is spreading to me and everyone around me. Now I can't even get the medication I need because he won't prescribe it.
