Dr. Daniel Coelho, MD

He did not read what I wrote and sent it ahead of time. He sent in a slouch of a resident who got my history inaccurate. When Coelho came in, he said we didn't know anything about tinnitus and walked out. He was inept, ignorant, stupid and an ill mannered doctor. I would never see him or send anyone to him ever again. He must return to school and learn to listen to his patients. If he is not qualified to deal with certain problems then by all means say so and do not dismiss my serious issues that VCU caused. I found him inappropriate and a waste of my time.

Dr. Coelho spent time explaining surgery and answering questions. He inspires confidence in his abilities.

After years of battling with dizziness, tmj, headaches, multiple sinus surgeries, balance issues and SSCD. I underwent a 2nd aggressive skull surgery with Dr C. He has given me my life back. Truly my hero. Always there, encouraged me through the challenging dark days and never gave up on me. Treated like a person, like a member of family and not just a patient, he truly cares about his patients and what he does. I barely have a scar. All his staff are so special too they all deserve to be recognized especially during the pandemic. I love Dr C's honesty sometimes he might tell you what you might not want to hear, he doesnt sugar coat anything and helps you work through the complicated situations with ease, he is always there makes himself available via the portal so you never feel alone. Anyone needing skull base surgery for SSCD Dr C is your man him and his team will help you every step of the way and after, we highly recommend. Thank you Dr C for helping me get my life back. My hero.

Dr. Coelho really listened to my concern and fixed it as fast as possibly! VCU Health is a super busy clinic and I had to wait 5 months just get an appointment with him, so when I finally saw him he made time for me (stayed an extra hour the day before a holiday!) to help me get some relief with this hearing issue I was having. Originally there were no spots for another month for the procedure I needed but he took time from his life to make my 4th of July way better. He listened to my concerns and was so easy to talk to. I would recommend him to anyone
