Meh!
I initially had a double hernia repair and it lasted three months. Had another with a mesh and it failed some years later. I moved south but returned to Dr Dahlinghaus at Resurrection to resolve the issue. One online website indicated they took UHC PPO. Office said "they didn't accept my insurance". We apparently resolved that issue and I made an appt. I drove 45 minutes north for my office visit and was told again "they didn't accept UHC Advantage PPO". I said I believed we resolved that issue and that is the reason why I I was here for this appointment". The staff huddled in the back, came out and told me they will accept my insurance with a $4000. copay. I left. A month later I had a fabulous modern robotic repair at my local five star hospital in which I was walking the same day with absolutely no pain. (Image showed mesh failure) Look for a friendly staff and a surgeon that uses modern techniques. THIS surgery total was $525.

I felt the appointment was very informative. A packet was provided that was focused on my treatment. My family was allowed to come in exam room and involved in process. Great bedside manner and took the time to answer all my questions.

He set a man on fire 8 years ago during a port placement surgery. Make sure he doesn’t rush your surgery.

One of the best doctors that my family had the pleasure of working with. Not many doctors like him out there, compassionate, respectful, always shakes your hand when he greets you and looks you in the eye when he speaks to you, and listens to his patients, just a master in his field! My family and I are very grateful to him for taking care of my father the way that he did! Simply the best, look no further! Thank you!

Dr. Dahlinghaus is everything you hope for in a physician: brilliant, compassionate, perceptive, kind, an empathic listener, warm, skilled, down-to-earth, approachable, experienced, funny - I could go on and on. He has the rare ability to take difficult medical concepts and explain them in terms I could easily understand without making me feel ignorant. They don't make doctors like him any more. He sets the standard for everyone else.

Doctor was fantastic. He operated on me and I felt so safe and at ease. He kept checking up on me and was always available or would come to the phone if I had a question after my surgery. I would recommend Dr. Dahlinghaus and would go to him if ever I needed him again. Thank you Doctor.

Excellent great bedside manner. Made recommendation and caught the early stages of a further condition and referred me for care for it outside his specialty that saved my life.
