Dr. Daniel Downs, MD

My concerns were not listened to and he seemed in a rush. He spent more time monologuing than hearing what I said about what was actually happening in my body. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but he seemed extremely impatient and irritable. He also jerked my head around during the ear exam. Not okay. This was a very demoralizing experience, because I waited weeks to get in to see him as a new patient. Would not return unless I had a true emergency situation, as a last resort. The front desk staff, however, were professional and lovely to interact with.

After a recent frightening hospitalization for Vertigo and the opinions of doctors and PT in the hospital, I really felt that I needed specific testing for Meniere’s Disease. I was made to feel belittled and did not feel that Dr Downs listened to my concerns. No testing was done to rule out my concerns.

Far too much knee touching for any woman to be comfortable getting seen by him.

Dr. Downs was focused and direct on explaining the condition and resolution. Put me at ease that he is experienced and was confident to resolve this issue.

Dr. Downs takes the time to listen carefully to his patients. He genuinely cares about his patients and their outcomes. He is attentive to details and shows that he's well educated in his field.

The dr was very good at understanding my problem and explaining what I should try to correct the condition.

After suffering from migraine headaches, Dr. Downs suggested we try something new. It was a surgery that involved scrapping a layer off of my nasal passages. (laymans poor definition). I spent overnight in the hospital. For a few weeks - I had some minor side effects as a result of the surgery. A miracle - for the first time in my life and for over a year now - absolutely no migraine headaches. From my perspecgtive - this has been an absolute miracle. Thank you Dr. Downss!!!

Dr. Downs is AWESOME. We like his style. When I go to the doctor, I want facts so I can make informed decisions. I don't want anything sugar coated because any doc that does that is doing you a disservice.

Dr. Downs did a Parotidectomy on me, I found his office staff kind and timely. Dr. Downs is to the point but listens to the patient concerns. He explains thoroughly and did a wonderful job on my surgery. I had a malignant tumor and he ressected it entirely while preserving my facial nerves. I was also a self-pay patient and he worked with me on that aspect as well. Would absolutely refer Dr. Downs for your ENT issues.

Doctor Downs saw me last minute when I was so sick and in pain I could not eat and had lost 10% of my body weight. He diagnosed the problem and worked with me to help me stay out of the ER by giving me the pain treatment necessary. He even handed out his personal cell phone in case I had an emergency. He was spot on and I was so happy to not spend 3 days in the ER on IV. I would highly recommend Dr. Downs. A very shape doctor who listens to his patients and works toward the best treatment
