At first, Provider was pretty dismissive of my daughter's condition. But with a bit more conversation and advocacy for my daughter provider came up with treatment plan options and ordered some tests.

Dr. Fain was wonderful to my daughter and to me during our visit. He was patient and attentive, and listened to everything we had to say without making us feel rushed.

Professional, proficient, while still being thorough and compassionate. He was patient and was able to connect with my son, allowing him the longer moments of time he needed to process and comply with the doctors requests.

Dr. Fain is very humble about his knowledge of neurology. He doesn't burden you with medical terminologies in explaining my child's medical diagnosis. He used simple layman language in letting me know his condition and treatment plans.

He was very thorough and explained his thought process and treatment plan well. He answered my questions to the best of his ability without the tests to confirm. He explained why each test was necessary. Much appreciated from a parent who knows close to nothing about neurology.

Dr. Fain uses a PA for office visits. The PA failed to recognize that my daughter was having subtle, destructive seizure activity. When the condition was finally discovered Dr. Fain relayed a list of treatment options to us via a nurse phone call. When we left his care we had not seen Dr. Fain (or any other doctor) for about eight months. To say that he is "hands off" is an understatement. It's like not having a doctor at all. My baby lost many months of development due to his lack of care.
