Highly dismissive.
It has been years since I’ve seen this man, and his dismissive and nearly combative manner still sometimes causes me stress. He talked down to me every visit as though my symptoms were ridiculous. And if I tried to defend what was going on with me, he would literally diagnose me with a mental illness right on the spot (bipolar, etc). I have had a couple of doctors since then and none of them have treated me this way or diagnosed me as he did. I feel like every visit with him was a gaslighting fiasco. And I’m so grateful to be out of his reach.

He has Dr. Charlie Burger skills, meaning he works through a diagnostic protocol, both on computer and from experience. Does a thorough history and symptom review, considers any outside professional opinions, recommends labs/imaging before jumping to conclusions, and believes you when you discuss meds for pain. Encourages seeing other specialists when appropriate. Is an active, outdoor guy so he understands recreation, sports, and healthy lifestyles. Also does alignments for musculoskeletal

Failed to diagnose. Failed to read my records. Discounted lab results. Disparaged another provider. Impatient. Easily overwhelmed.
