Competent and Compassionate Surgeon
Dr. Howard listened to my concerns and did all that he could medically do to help me delay having total knee replacement surgery. Eventually I could no longer put off the inevitable—however the decision was always up to me. Dr. Howard carefully explained the procedure and assured me that he would do everything possible to ensure that I was well taken care of. He, together with the medical staff at Northern Westchester Hospital, were amazing. I’m not going to sugar coat the pain I experienced when I went home. The first two weeks were horrific. However I always knew Dr. Howard was only a phone call away if I had any questions or needed I needed assistance. The surgery was a month ago, and yes, I am still recovering, however I am thankful Dr. Howard is a caring, and compassionate doctor.

Great first experience
I was referred to Dr. Howard by a friend for a knee injury and was not disappointed. Did not wait long in reception or to get X-rays done. Waited about 10 mins for Dr. Howard go come in the exam room. He had a great bedside manner, very friendly, knowledgeable, and is a great listener.

Dr Howard is great!
Dr Howard greeted us warmly. He asked many pertinent questions, tested shoulder strength, flexibility and range of motion. He is knowledgeable, explaining clearly and patiently everything we needed to know.He answered all of our questions and showed us on the X-ray what he was talking about. Every staff member that we came in contact withers warm, welcoming and professional. His PA did a preliminary exam. She was thorough and intuitive and put us at ease. We highly recommend Dr Howard.

Everything I expect from Somers orthopedic.
Dr Howard picked up where Dr Yormack left off. I haven't needed to see anyone about my knees in about 10 years, so I had a set of x-rays and an initial exam. Everything was explained to me, including possible future treatments should my condition get worse. All in all I'm very satisfied with my visit.

Highly Recommend
I have been having problems with my right knee for over one year and seeing another doctor who told me I had arthritis and wasn't helping me that much. I decided it was time to look for another orthopedic doctor and I discovered Dr. Howard on-line. He had great views so I made an appointment with him. I was highly impressed. He examined my knee and moved it in different directions and informed me that I did have some arthritis in the knee. He went over my MRI disk that I brought from the other doctor. He also had a new x-ray taken there at his office and went over that as well with me. My previous doctor didn't do this at all. Dr. Howard listened to my concerns and was very patient and he didn't rush my appointment. We decided on a plan of action to help my situation which I will follow up with. I was a happy patient after this appointment.

A doctor who listens
He listens, doesn’t rush to get you in and out, he’s compassionate. I appreciate that in a dr. He thoroughly explains the issue , reads the X-rays with you and explains exactly what we are looking at. My daughter used him first but now I will be using him as well.
