I am very fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Kaplan - since late 2008. His experience applied to my many areas of concern as I am now in my early 80s (such as blood pressure, cholesterol, heart and kidney functions, sleep apnea, et.al.) has kept me an active and happy person. I especially appreciate Dr. Kaplan's thorough approach to situations that require much more than quick-fix answers. Delayed appointments are most likely a patient (I or anyone else) getting that extra unanticipated attention.

I have never once seen this doctor when he has arrived on time for a appointment. Today I brought my elderly uncle in for an appointment time of 945. We sat till almost 11 before he even arrived at the office. Can I understand being a little late for an 8AM appointment, sure, but a 9:45, unacceptable. He also spends little to no time with his patients & if you don’t have an advocate with you you will be under cared for.

Dr Kaplan undoubtedly saved my husband's life. He listened attentively to his symptoms, assessed the seriousness of his condition and refered us, with urgency , to the proper specialists. To find a doctor who genuinely cares for his patients is a rare find and I am eternally grateful that he has cared for my husband for years and literally, just recently saved his life! Thank you, Dr Kaplan!

Dr. Kaplan provided primary care for my mom, 86 with dementia, at Harbor Chase rehab. Some 3 weeks after entering she complained to me of foot pain and I discovered large deep pressure sores at her heels....stage 3. Dr. Kaplan stated she arrived from the hospital with essentially these sores and he would..... now inform the family and start treatment. The hospital discharge indicated no heel sores. Insist you be told immediately of any ailment with an aged parent or child.

Dr. Kaplan is an up to date physician whose empathy and regard for his patients is paramount to the way he conducts his practice. He is a no hurry doctor who has eye to eye contact with you as he cares for your needs aND awaynswers your questions. I have low back and neck pain for which he first prescribes physical therapy. We discuss and shy away from any meds for pain that may cause addiction or habituation detrimental to your body. He teaches at the NOVA medical school He is tops in my book.

Dr. Kaplan and his staff took care of our medical needs as if we were their own family. Dr. Kaplan is a totally professional person who made the diagnosis for my husband's illness and sent us for the appropriate tests and gave us the appropriate medicine to get him well again. I would recommend him highly.

Where do I start?? 1st of all, expect your visit to be 3 hrs, NOT KIDDING!!! At first I thought it was the receptionist desk, but have learned, now that he has new staff, it is him. Poor time management skills. Next, you’d better take notes from one visit to the next,,,which by the way will be monthly even if your senior is perfectly healthy, because he won’t remember what your previous visit needs to be discussed about because there are no notes taken. I could list more but no characters rema

The doctors office and staff failed on so many levels that I will tell you about only one incident. 3-4 years ago I had a chest xray taken per the drs. request I never heard back from them I even called them asking for the report and they said it wasnt back yet Today 4 years later I have a mass on my lung that was originally seen 4 years ago!

A pleasant, well-run office is a comfortable backdrop for Dr. Kaplan's family & geriatric medical practice.. A capable and informed physician, he's also very personable, putting patients of all ages at ease. Much-respected and well-connected in the Naples medical community, he can quickly arrange patient referrals to specialists, if needed. Over the past ten years, I've experienced some routine and a few acute medical problems. In each case, he found effective solution. I rank Dr. Kaplan tops.

Dr. Kaplan has great sensitivity to the needs and concerns of all his patients, but is especially good with his geriatric patients. A recent experience demonstrates how Dr Kaplan is willing to go the extra mile to tend to the needs of his patients. On a recent weekend, Dr Kaplan learned that a respiratory I had battled for a month had gotten worse. He made the effort to visit me in my home on a Sunday. His care and prescribed course of treatment quickly brought my condition under control.

Thorough, patient, knowledgable, great follow up. I had a brief wait but didn't mind because when it was my turn he took all the time that I needed to ensure all of my concerns were addressed and that I was comfortable and understood the diagnosis, treatment plan and follow up. His staff was warm and super helpful.
