While waiting for blood tests at the La Quinta lab I was amazed at how full the waiting room was & realized most were snow birds returning to the Valley for the Winter. Many I over heard were discussing the fact amongst themselves & with staff checking in that they didn't know what they were going to do as their long time Dr(Daniel Lopez) had moved out of State. As I was leaving 2 more people were at the main desk with Information lists of Doctors associated with Eisenhower and were speaking with the woman there. I was picking one up also and heard both of them state that they were upset at having to get a new Dr. after seeing Dr. Lopez so many years. One stated we need to get a petition to bring him back. I have the same problem, after 11 years with him I have yet to find a Doctor for myself & my G~Daughter with all the qualities of Dr. Lopez. He's considerate, knowledgeable, no unnecessary testing & treats you with dignity. I'm on 2nd Dr. and have yet to find someone even close.

I was referred to him 11 years ago. I was in a car accident 10 yrs ago and he referred me to a specialist who worked with him and I was extremely satisfied. I stayed with Dr. Lopez for the following years and he was the most professional Dr. I have had and actually treats you like a person explaining things in full and doesn't go over board with tests you don't need like many others have. I could not have ask for a better Dr. and I have referred many people to him, none were disappointed. He will be missed ~ my husband & granddaughter went to him also and we are all very sorry to lose him!!!

Dr. Lopez took little interest in that I had fractured a back vertebrae. I was given a shot in my hip for pain, I continued with horrible pain 24 hrs a day so I went to another doctor who took an MRI where in fact the vertebrae were cracked & I needed surgery. I was advised so much time had passed since injury surgery was needed immediately & hopefully the surgery would work. Which it did but not as a result of Dr. Lopez' treatment. I'm disappointed that Eisenhower took him on staff.

"Dr." Lopez is basically a "doc in the box". He should not be practicing medicine at all.

He's responsible for over-prescribing medication to my uncle, which led to his death in 2013. He also treated a friend of the family... He misdiagnosed a diabetic lesion on his foot, which would have led to amputation if our friend had not been admitted into a local ER shortly after and hospitalized for several weeks. He shouldn't even be practicing medicine.
