Dr. Daniel Schubert, MD

I was referred to Dr. Schubert from my Pelvic floor therapist.I had a doctor in Anchorage who I have seen for many years. I was having severe pain and after months of appointments and testing ,she could not help me or figure out what was wrong with me she pretty much gave up. She suggested surgery to help me. With no help from the surgery I was still in pain and worse off than I was before .My first appointment with Dr. Schubert within 20 minutes he told me why I was hurting explained to me why it was hurting and even drew me a picture. I sat and cried Not believing what just happened. I came back and had a small procedure in the office that gave me much-needed relief until I am able to get my next corrective surgery . I can not explain how grateful I am for his expertise and understanding of the horrible pain I was experiencing. Dr. Schubert did my surgery and I cannot begin to express how much I appreciated his patience and the time he took to spell everything out in detail. I knew exactly what to expect. I learned more from him than I’ve ever learned from any doctor. I’d recommend him to any and all of my friends. He is an amazing doctor. His nurse, Kendall, is extremely professional and helpful. 2 Midwives at ANMC delivered my baby who was over 9 pounds and did not properly diagnose the degree of tear. I suffered with fecal incontinence and urinary incontinence for about a year. Dr. Schubert got to the bottom of it literally. He was caring and concerned about my health. He discovered that my transverse vaginal muscles of the perineal body were separated and he re-attached them. He also diagnosed me with a dropped bladder, dropped rectal, and dropped urethra.
