Dr Stingl was extremely unprofessional and rude I pulled up right by the hospital I'm disabled and I have traumatic brain injury. Needless to say he was soooo rude,he belittled me, he kept hanging up on me. Obviously this man has no experience with trauma patients. How do you drive when your eye is all messed up? I couldn't drive he was so rude he landed me back in the hospital full meltdown. This doctor will hang up on you if he doesn't like what you ask. I'm a nice timid person and I'm very patient. I just wanted to see him I wanted him to look at my eye I can't drive and he was trying to make me drive away he was no help horrible doctor no thanks I feel bad for the guy in the hospital who thinks he's a nice guy I told him I had five kids and the doctor in the hospital said he would help me because I can't afford my co-pays he acted like he didn't take Aetna too but he does. Who hangs up on a disabled person with post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. If this doctor had been nice to me I would have went to him for everything I've got a lot of ailments and conditions. not happy. Rude. No empathy. I probably would have went to him for all my reconstructive surgeries but now I'll never have anything to do with him again just because of a rude phone call maybe you should treat your patients nicer I'm so sick of these doctors who think that they're God.

Need assistance
Previously saw Dr. Stingl at Florida Eye Institute where he did cataract and glaucoma stent surgery on both eyes for me. Was very pleased with him and his staff. But he left Florida Eye Institute before I could see him at my next follow up appointment. Now it appears he does not take my insurance. Shame on you, Dr. Stingl. Left me in the lurch. Need assistance and no where to get it. Something needs to be tweaked. Doctor who replaced Dr. Stingl at Florida Eye Institute is not set up yet, so long wait and might not take my insurance.

Had a great experience when visited Dr Stingl's Eye Clinic in Melbourne last month. Loved his approach and was well impressed after a very through examination. Not all doctors go that extra mile and put their patients interest and well-being in first place. Thank you doctor Stingl!
