Diagnosis correction
After X-rays by another physician my son was diagnosed with a sprained ankle. Per doctors orders we kept it wrapped for 6 weeks. With no improvement after 6 weeks, I took him to see Dr Tang and he was diagnosed with a broken growth plate in his ankle. He was given a boot and within 4 weeks he was back to running the playground…he felt fine after 3 weeks but we followed Dr Tangs orders!

Very knowledgeable. His calm deamenor and years of experience are reassuring. His surgical skills are impeccable, something I didn't think to ask about until it was over.

I have been seeing Dr. Tang for many years now. He is very patient and takes the time to explain things to you. When others were quick to suggest surgery, he advised me of all my options allowing me to finally decide when to have knee replacement surgery. After surgery, if I saw him in the community, he would stop to talk and at times would ask to see my knee. Over the years I have seen many physicians for my own personal care and that of elderly parents. I have not seen his level of bedside manor and care/concern for his patients demonstrated by many. If I had issues with office staff, he did not hesitate to go get them to find out what happened and to determine how they could improve (he did not just take their word over mine.) I will be a patient as long as he's practicing...

Always takes the time to listen. He explains the diagnosis and future treatment to where I can understand. He has performed two knee scopes on myself, and misc other medical issues. I've sent several family members to Dr. Tang including both of my sons.

Dr. Teng was not very impressive. He showed me the x-ray, and said I had fracture the end of my ankle bone, but on the report he wrote that it was a sprain. I saw the x-ray as well, and you could see that piece of bone was broken off. The urgent care center advised that it was a fracture. He did not seem to know how long it would take to heal. He did not advise me on whether to stay off of it or not. He seemed relatively unsure about just about anything I asked him. I would not go back to him.
