Unequivocally the worst most arrogant gynecologist I have ever come across…. He does not listen and is very condescending

I met Dr. Tobias one week after giving birth, 4 days after being told I have ovarian cancer. I was so scared walking into his office - a new mom with a cancer diagnosis?? I thought all the worst things. He made me feel like I had options and that he was going to make sure I was around for a long time for my daughter. Almost a year later and we are still working together to get me that clean bill of health,but I don't think I could have done all I've done without him, his staff, and their guidance. I appreciate the facts and he gives that to you - he does not sugar coat things. Very thankful for him!

I usually don't find low review for doctors so important, but I learned how important they are. I read all review before going to dr.Tobias, and thought ''bad one'' are maybe false. But they are not. I went there to remove my mass / cyst from ovary. He was extremally rude, did not wanna do surgery or any blood work or test... the office staff are even worst(imposable to make app. and they lied about it )! I went to other oncology who ordered blood work and MRI, did a surgery. It came out cancer! Not only that he act rude and mean to me, he was also unprofessional and made a huge mistake in diagnostic! Such a waits of my time. I blame him for my cancer stage today(I waited for app. for 2 months) and he did not diagnose me right .

As a cancer patient having a procedure related to my cancer diagnosis dr tobias was extremely condescending rude and unprofessional. Apparently having your ovaries removed doesnt hurt and you dont need pain meds for it. I wonder how in all his years of having womens reproductive organs removed he would know this. No attempt at making the payient comfortable or secure. Aweful dr. I do not recommend.

He was a very caring doctor who spent the time to answer all questions and to be thorough with tests before surgery. He spent the time to explain all concerns and what would occur during recovery. Highly recommend for his expertise, caring nature, and wonderful office staff too!

He is kind and caring, I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I found him to be arrogant and demeaning.He made rounds with a group of students/residents during my stay at the hospital for a surgery by someone else from his practice. He brushed off my request for a specialist for my autoimmune disease. He ignored my valid concerns. I would recommend he take a refresher course on empathy.

Absolutely amazing

We're lucky enough to have him during my wife's surgery. He's not only an expert in his field but also kind and compassionate. He'll explain the details and reassure you and make you comfortable. You know your in good hands with him.

Dr. Tobias helped save my life. He rearranged his calendar to arrange a quicker appointment for me and operated a few days later. He spent a lot of time speaking to me, thoroughly answering my concerns. I think you would be lucky to have him as your surgeon. In addition, he has a good bed side manner. He is caring and compassionate. When I got a good report after a subsequent appt, his office staff literally cheered. Pretty amazing.

Dr Tobias is a wonderful doctor. He has such a calming personality. His staff is friendly and re-assuring. He answers any and all questions with detail and patients. I recommended seeing him for sure.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Tobias, he said surgery would be an hour and a half and it was, he couldn't officially diagnose me without surgery but he told me what he thought it was and he was totally right.

Dr Tobias ,besides he is a great professional he is also a great person. You can tell by looking at him that he really cares,and does his job the best. No words can explain how thankfull I am with him and his staff.

I went to Dr. Tobias on the recommendation of my gynecologist who said Dr. Tobias is who he would have his own family go to. He has a gentle manner that is critical in this field, and his expertise in robotic technology is excellent. My surgery took half the time it takes other doctors to perform. Easy to get an appointment, really nice staff in his office. Overall, despite the reason for having to see him, a great experience.

Dr. Tobias punctured my moms bowel during major surgery and almost killed her. She was then in an induced coma for a week and he never once came to see her in the hospital to make sure she was ok. Thank god for the wonderful nurses and other doctors at the hospital who saved her life otherwise i would've lost her. Stay away from him!

I would highly recommend Dr. Tobias to family and friends. His care, understanding of my concerns and overall, "bedside manner" were superb. As a surgeon, he is tops. My recuperation period after surgery was minimal and with no pain. I was so happy to be back to myself in no time. Without hesitation, he is the best!

I had my hysterectomy last year. I chose him as i wanted a competent Dr and the Morristown hospital.

Even though I was upset and scared him and everyone there made me feel better great experience

Dr. Tobias became my mom's doctor after she was sent to Morristown Memorial. I was impressed by his immediate attention; he came to see my mom early Saturday morning and he even wheeled my into surgery himself and called later that evening. He did everything to make both of us feel comfortable which is so important when you're facing something frightening and uncertain. Dr. Tobias is not only an incredible doctor but a remarkable human being and truly grasps the human side of medicine.

Dr Tobias is an excellent professional Doctor and Surgeon. He is also a very special person who taking the time to explain everything. I would highly recommend him.
