Doctor Troy is by far one of the best orthopedic doctors out there! He is caring and listens to you. I’ve been his patient for about 15 years now. He’s fixed my back. Thank you Doctor Troy for always being there for me!

Dr Troy was outstanding in both managing patient and family expectations for an urgent leg surgery for my mom. Explained everything, and rest assured you are working with a truly decent and wonderful human being. It's not easy having an urgent surgery from someone you've never met, and we thank our lucky stars Dr Troy was on call that day. His office staff in the Tinley office is AMAZING and special shout-out to the incredible Lisa! We have more appts coming and we are thrilled to have this staff on our side.

This doctor overbooks his patients and then cancels appointments when he can't see everyone. This doctor is interested in money, not patients. I took a day off work and waited over an hour only to be told the doctor left for an emergency surgery, but the tech said the hospital threatened to cancel the surgery if he did not get there in 20 minutes. Cancel the surgery? So how is that an emergency? Clearly, he has a reputation for overbooking. I rescheduled (more than a month in advance) and the office called again to reschedule because the doctor had another surgery the same day. I made an appointment with another doctor at another practice the next week. Didn't have to wait for a month. Do not go to this doctor. He is interested in making money, not his patients.

Dr Troy is no longer my Doctor but I miss him.He always had time to talk and listen..kind,compassionate,honest,warm yet professional. Would appreciate the staff improving scheduling.Discuss with Dr.Troy.Thanks

Dr Troy is amazing. He's compassionate and very professional. He has extended my knee life by many years with his expertise. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my health care. His staff is second to none and very friendly. If you are looking for pain relief and top notch care look no further than here!!!

I had a shoulder replacement in August. I Think Dr. Troy is fantastic. The physical therapy done was excellent. All done at Advanced Orthopedic and Spine card facility. My shoulder is great.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. Troy I would like to mention a few people I met during my visit. Lisa ( P.A. ) was great. She helped me understand and explained to me, my situation...she deserves a note of thanks ..... also, Lisa L at the front desk was also very helpful and very accommodating, she is friendly and helpful.... these two " Lisa's " should receive the " atta boy " or in this case - " atta girl " award ....

In 2018 Dr. Troy determined my back pain was due to my hips. For 2 years he kept me going until I decided to have my hips replaced in August 2020. My first hip was replaced the first week of November. The second the first week of December. The staff, nurses and PA's were outstanding. Physical Therapy at the Tinley Park location was great. I will be golfing in Florida again the end of January. Amazing! In these days of confusing, impersonal corporate medicine it is rare to find a doctor or a practice that actually cares about it's patients. Dr. Troy at Advanced Orthopedics shines far above his peers in terms of knowledge, skill, availability and having the patients interest at heart. In the future I will be recommending Dr. Troy to all of my friends and family.

Dr. Troy's nurse practitioner forgot that I had checked in and was in the waiting room for an hour. When I addressed this issue with the receptionist, she apologized. A few minutes later I was called for the appointment. I asked the nurse practitioner the reason for the delay. I received a generic response that medical issues often run longer than expected. I again asked the same question. The nurse practitioner left the examining room. A few minutes later Daniel Troy entered the room. Her terminated his services and I was left with pain and the need to reschedule with another physician. When I inquired as to why he was terminating his services, he said, and I quote, "you made my employee cry".

Dr Troy is a amazingly superb Doctor. Very compassionate, very Theroux, unbelievable bed side manor, humorous at the correct time. My wife and I have been going to him for years , I wouldn’t trust any other orthopedic doctor.

Not good. Fell on my bicep which caused a nasty broken collar bone. He had a very flip attitude about it. Recommended not doing surgery by making jokes. Shoulder specialist recommended surgery because of the severity of the injury. Dr. Troy convinced my wife, then me, to forgo surgery. I am now paying the price for that decision. Maybe he figured he could fix any problems later with surgery and then more rehab. Unfortunately, surgery is no longer a good option for me so riding my bicycle, washing the floors, exercising on an elliptical are all painful now. Will not be back to see this doctor. Should have gone with my instincts and insisted on the surgery or, at least, switched doctors.

Choosing Dr. Troy and his team at Advanced Orthopedic was the best decision I have ever made. They are professional and compassionate. Dr. Troy performed a Double Disc Replacement at level C5-6 and C6-7 in my neck. Shortly after surgery, I returned to work as a Pipefitter with no restrictions. I now have complete range of motion, no pain, and no stiffness. I am providing for my family once again. Today I am playing golf, bowling, and living my life to its fullest. A special thank you to Adam Mietus PA ,and all of the Physical Therapist`s. I am truly blessed to have been treated by all of you! Thank You.

Had my hip replaced 2 years ago and Dr. Troy did an excellent job. Him and his team were great. When I need surgery again and go back to Dr. Troy

Dr. Troy is easy to talk to and I like the way he explains the various options available. I had several steroid injections in my hip but they were just temporary fix's. I am now scheduled to have Dr. Troy replace my hip and I am confident that he will take care of business for me!
