Dr Valdez not only explained what was wrong, he showed me a few exercises to do at home. He also gave me a paper copy of my X-Ray that served as a visual that he used to show the damage to my joint. Very helpful, friendly, and took the time to be sure I had no further questions.

Recently I had a diagnostic and followup for leg pain by Dr. Valdez. His exam was thorough and he spent adequate time to educate me on what I can do to control the pain. In the followup visit Dr. Valdez answered my questions. I find him to be very knowledgeable and he very kindly gave me adequate time, concerned and sincere.

OrthoNow is great. Excellent staff where you can get X-rays and treatment all in one visit. Dr Valdez an excellent clinician. He explains the findings of your xrays and treatment plan. He gives gray injections-they didn’t hurt like some other docs.

Extended hours are great! I arrived at the Stone Oak location at 6:15 PM and was summoned to the front desk immediately. The entire staff, and the process, was very professional and efficient. I received x-rays within minutes. Then Dr. Valdez evaluated my knee, arranged for my treatment and I was on my way within 45 minutes. I received relief as he indicated that I would. I will return to Ortho Now at TSAOG and see Dr. Valdez should the need arise. 5 stars!

Wait time was long, but Dr. Valdez was worth it. He made sure that all my questions were answered. He was patient and showed empathy. I would definitely see him again, should the need arise. The only downside was that they do not accept Blue Cross. I did have to pay out of network, but fees were reasonable compared to emergency room. Thanks??

Dr. Valdez is a very kind and gentle natured doctor. For someone in pain, this is so important. His practice has a lot to offer, it really is the “go-to” place for Ortho care in San Antonio. I saw him at his Stone Oak office. Five stars, for sure.

Unlike the first orthopedic doc I saw, Dr. Valdez discussed all reasonable options for treatment and what I could expect from each, then offered the choice to me. He Is very personable and empathetic, and hears what I tell him about my issue. I trust his medical opinion and would trust him to do surgery if needed.

I came in for an ankle injury, spent 5 minutes with Dr. Valdez and (as I later found out) was misdiagnosed. Dr. Valdez indicated I needed surgery for my injury. I received a second opinion from another orthopedic surgeon. In fact, my injury was a sprain with nerve trauma. The second doctor took the time to ask the proper questions, put me on a different treatment, and did not recommend surgery. Approach Dr. Valdez with caution.

Dr. Valdez was friendly. I went in for a second opinion from my first doctor. He did an exam, looked at the MRI and confirmed they first doctor diagnosis. He did not try to get me into a surgeon in his practice, but did recommend treatment. He said the treatment would be pretty much the same if I went with them or the other doctor. I did not have to wait long in the waiting room nor exam room. Great service.
