Uncaring, condescending, surly , and rude are a few adjectives I would use to describe him. Very dismissive on his treatment! I made NYU Langone head of cardiology nurses about his behavior.

Excellent and caring cardiologist
Dr. Massera has been my cardiologist for close to a year and he is a wonderful and caring physician. He is extremely knowledgeable and unusual in being very concerned about his patients. He is also personable and warm. I have a complicated case, and Dr. Massera has impressed me by calling me personally when he learned I had gone for an emergency room and comforting me when I was feeling badly about my medical situation. I recommend him very strongly and have felt fortunate to have had his knowledgeable advice and detailed attention since I first went to him for medical advice and treatment. I wish I knew more physicians like him!!

I wish I had found Dr. Massera sooner - my care and Treatment by him is far superior than what I received by my previous cardiologists. I work in healthcare and can tell you that he is a rare combination of very competent and very personable. He listens with a great deal of empathy and has spent a lot of time with me to ensure that all my questions are answered. I am confident that t
