Dr. Daphne Scaramangas-Plumley, MD

Filled out the paperwork, & when I called (multiple times) and spoke to someone, they told me I would get an appointment soon...never happened....

She left me waiting for over two hours, brushed off my symptoms and said I’ll said I’ll send someone to do labwork. No one ever came. She never followed up with me and sent blank test results to my email. I would never recommend her.

I am shocked by the dismissiveness of Dr. Scaramangas. I have Hashimotos, but recently have experienced symptoms and was recommended I see a specialist. Dr. Scaramangus’s bedside manner was that of someone who has no standard of care for extreme full body pain and in fact ignores it completely. I had repeatedly said I was doing very poorly, had to quit work and have my family come take care of me because of pain, inability to use my hands, difficulty breathing, cognitive issues, extreme dizziness, digestive issues, etc, but her response was she didn't understand why I couldn't take care of myself. Worst of all when I couldn’t seem to get through to her and started to cry she said “ I am gonna to give you a moment” walked out of the exam room and never came back in. In reviewing her visit notes she said "I discussed with her fibromyalgia management, which she was not is interested in." This is completely untrue and no treatment was ever discussed with me and no options offered.

Dr Scaramangas-Plumley is extremelyi ntelligent. He mind is like a razerblade. Dr is sincere and is willing to explore until she finds the root of the problem, I have great respect for her and feel that she is the best Physician in her office in Beverly Hills.
