Dr. Daren Gatherum, DO

Dr. Gatherum saw me through 2 high risk IVF pregnancies. He was always very thoughtful, caring, and accommodating with blood draws for our fertility specialists so I wouldn’t have to make three trips to Las Vegas a week. I left the cedar city institute of Women’s health clinic after numerous negative experiences and came to Dr. Gatherum after a referral from a friend. I always had an a top notch experience with Dr. Gatherum.

Dr. G and his staff are so knowledgeable and kind, and they do a great job of explaining everything.

Everything was going okay until i was in my 30 weeks. He did good about going over results and issues, but when I was in such hip pain to where I couldn't walk or stand for too long and I tried getting on bed rest, he told me that its "part of pregnancy" and I pretty much just have to deal with it. I voiced that I felt there was a lack of care and concern for myself and he approached me in a very egotistical and almost self-justifying way for voicing my opinion. He came off obviously upset from me insinuating his lack of concern for my well being, all while ranting at the same time as checking my baby's heart beat and ruining the experience for me. Being very pregnant and hormonal I started crying because of the way he approached the situation and I found it was very rude and unprofessional. After that last appointment with him, I immediately switched over to the Womans Health Institute because I was very upset and stressed out from his actions. I do not reccomend Dr. Gatherum.
