He's not a good doctor in my experience with him. he doesn't listen he thinks he knows your own body better than you do. he's cold and he doesn't really seem to care. he sees you once a year which I think is strangeand he won't fill out paperwork for FMLA or letters for work restrictions. he won't do anything extra for the patient. He has a condescending attitude which is very annoying. This is the first and so far the only bad experience I've ever had with a doctor. The front office is very immature and unprofessional, almost incompetent. This is based on my experience with this doctor and office experience.

Bare Minimum Care
My husband saw this physician for several years. After experiencing migraines from hitting his head in October, he was referred for a CT which came back clear. We saw Dr. Rauch again in February after still feeling pain, and were placed on meds for nerve pain, and referred for an MRI. Both appointments lasted 5 minutes, and at no point did this physician assess my husband's eyes for pupil dilation or struggles tracking, ears for vestibular issues, nor ask about limb numbness or tingling, brain fog, or memory recollection. Nor was a blood test ordered to check for an infection, elevated enzyme levels, or any other possible concerns. We ended up going to the ER mere days later when my husband fainted, where they found he had a quite high WBC that was contributing to his pain, which could've easily been found, treated, and prevented further damage to his health and our financial state. We are very glad that we have new insurance and no longer need to deal with this medical neglect.

This Dr and his office is just that an office. They do not help. They are rude. They do not check vitals and they certainly do not know anything. They are just place fillers in the rural area so OSF can say they have an office there. The Dr is rude, impersonal as are his staff. Don’t go.

Walking in as a teenager complaining of chest pain and irregular heart palpitations, my concerns should have been taken more seriously. I had to ask many times before he was willing to order a heart monitor and I was told "People your age don't have heart problems." Only a few years later I was rushed to the ER and diagnosed with AFib as a 22 year old.

Recently, I had a check up w/ Dr. Rauch after being discharged from the hospital. I was still in pain & had questions pertaining to my hospital stay/ongoing treatment. Dr. Rauch rushed through the appointment stating, "Anything else?" after every short response he gave. I felt cut off & wasn't given enough time to ask my questions & thus had to go home & rely on webmd. So rude! He was also very rude to my husband during an office visit the following week. I will never waste time/$ w/ him again.
