Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

All the 1-2 star reviews are totally justified....
It was terrible.....as I tried to ask questions and add things I felt important to the conversation, he just loomed over me looking totally disgusted and annoyed that I dare even open my mouth and speak. I got NO satisfaction, NO diagnosis, and I would not recommend that anyone see this guy. His personality and likeability are in definite need of improvement. At one point I thought maybe it was just me, or he was having a bad day, etc. But now I see all these other 1 star reviews and now I'm sure it's just how awful of a doctor he truly is.

Avoid Dr. Smith
I was looking forward to my visit because I was hopeful the Dr. would have a solution to my pain. I trusted my general physician’s recommendation to go to Ohio Head and Neck and did not read reviews beforehand. I am used to the professional drs I currently see. They explain things. They ask questions. They listen. I was completely baffled by my experience with this man. I left the appointment feeling belittled and dismissed. Dr. Smith treated me with little respect. He made it clear that I was blaming things on my nose and sinuses when I should be blaming it on headaches. He dismissed my CT scan results. He did not ask me questions about my allergies, face pain, sleep issues, etc.It was so bizarre. He seemed offended that I wanted to understand how my face pain is actually a headache. He was rude and arrogant. Waste of time and money. I will go Cleveland Clinic.

Dr Smith didn’t listen, rude & unhelpful
He handed me a tmj printout, telling me “this wasn’t him” but the printout did call out ENT’s to resolve problem. He didn’t listen & wouldn’t allow questions. Maybe I do have tmj, like many people but that isn’t total problem. What a waste of time & money. I was quickly “discounted” and exited without any help. Square one again as the pain continues.

Steer clear of this Doctor.
The good: the office staff and assistants were super kind. Even the lady who called me after my visit was super kind. Dr. Smith, however, was not so kind, compassionate or any of the qualities you look for in a doctor when you are trying to fix a problem. He looked at my “beautiful” ears and discarded my concerns. Even if he couldn’t help me, there is a kind way to address my concerns as opposed to treating me the way he did. I left in tears and will never go back in that building.

Horrible visit. 1 star bec! I asked if Dr. Smith treated a specific disease. I was assured three times by 2 different nurses he did. He was rude, informing me he did not treat my problem then had no advice. He was rushed and kept telling me to stop talking each time I attempted to say why I was there (my medical problems were explained in the referral. If he did not treat it, why did he accept me as a patient). He seems more interested in # of patients he can see per hour (x each copayment) instead of actually helping the patient. Money seems to be his priority. Rudest bedside manner I have ever experienced. Nurses (do not identify themselves by LVN, RN or NURSE PRACTITIONER) & receptionist were polite. Only handicapped restroom on the floor was out of service w/o an appropriate sign on door or informed of same by staff when I told them I was going there (wasted trip to restroom as my walker did not fit in non-handicapped stall). Worse, no one seemed to care!

Disappointed in Dr. Smith's treatment of my elderly father today. I understand COVID concerns, but please behave like you are essential and know people count on you even in tough times. Elderly deserve good care also and not be dismissed.

My wife had an appointment with Dr. Smith. She has been on four cycles of antibiotics and has been coughing not stop for four months. After being referred, he said there was nothing wrong-no allergies and no infection. When she asked why she continued coughing he dismissed her and said, 'it's just like that sometimes.'. WOW! After reading reviews, I wish we would have made a better choice. Cleveland clinic, here we come.

I was referred to Dr Smith by my endocrinologist for abnormal lymph nodes in my neck. Being a RN that recently moved to Ohio I was very nervous not knowing many physicians in the area. During my visit with Dr Smith, he had great bedside manner and took the time to explain and answer any questions I had. I never felt rushed and I felt he truly cared about my concerns. I would highly recommend Dr Smith and his staff.

I had surgery twice with Dr. Smith. This man helped me hear! He’s very professional and tells you what to do after surgery. I had otosclerosis in both ears and he did my stapes surgery. Thanks Dr. Smith for giving my hearing back to me.

I had my tonsils removed by Dr. Brescia at the same office as Dr. Smith in Canton. I experienced heavy bleeding after and was connected with Dr. Smith. He dismissed each call seeming more and more annoyed. Eventually I was rushed to the ER where Dr. Smith did not come in for hours and I ended up needing a blood transfusion due to his apathy towards his patients. Thank you, Dr. Smith for leaving me to think I was going to die because you were too busy spending your Memorial Day elsewhere.

After visiting with Dr. Smith several times I finally was smart enough to check his reviews online. My experience with him was poor. He's the rudest, most impatient, medical "professional?" I've ever encountered. He doesn't want to deal with his patients at all. He simply wants to diagnose and kick you out the door. I'm not a "hold my hand" type of person but should have been able to ask questions and get a few explanations. He should be a vet; he doesn't like dealing with people.

After reading the reviews I was extremely skeptical, however glad I have chosen Dr. Smith as my ENT. Very compassionate, explains things very well and leaves no questions unanswered. I am very happy with my care and surgical outcomes! I am glad I went and didn't listen to the reviews!

We found him arrogant and dismissive, if not downright rude. Thankfully, his professional and helpful nurse was able to explain how my husband was to follow up after his procedure. He was unable to or refused to answer what I would assume to be standard questions about my husband's condition.

When I was diagnosed with tongue cancer by Dr. Smith he informed me very coldly & handed me names of locate oncologists. There was no additional information other than call & make appointments. Surgery was not an option offered by him. I received a second opinion by the doctors at Cleveland Clinic. All of their doctors were wonderful & had wonderful bedside manners. I did undergo surgery to remove the cancer followed by chemo & radiation treatment. I am happy to be alive today.

Sinus surgery is by far his main interest and he prides himself over and over on his work whether it helps the patient or not. Not someone to go to with a complex issue that takes some in-depth analysis, and time. His surprisingly curt, sharp, cross response to my asking for reasoning behind a diagnosis would rate an ?F? with most people. This is a get um in, get um out and bill them operation. Not going back.
