Excellent emergency care
Dr. Alexander was personable, kind and caring from the moment he walked into the emergency room. He did a great job of skillfully stitching up my lip which was badly torn from a faceplant - fall that included broken teeth. Cleaned up my other wounds, ordered CT scan and rib x-ray and gave a thorough all-around exam. A good listener and compassionate person. He even followed up with a phone call two days after the accident to see how I was doing. Excellent care.

Doesn’t respect patients while changing
I was asked to change into a gown upon arrival.I had recently had surgery so this was extremely difficult and painful. This doctor walked in on me while my shirt was off and i immediately yelled out as soon as he knocked, “Stop! I’m changing!” He did not stop but came in immediately not even waiting 2 seconds to give me time to cover myself. He left again and gave me about 15 seconds before he tried to barge in again immediately after knocking without giving me time to stop him verbally.Fortunately I had already put my foot on the door to stop him coming in, as he didn’t give me time to finish dressing. His care for the rest of the visit was fine. But I found this pretty disrespectful.

Best doctor I’ve ever worked with
I worked with Dr. Alexander in the Emergency Department at Good Sam over 10 years ago, he is a very personable guy with a great bedside manner. I still remember working with him because of how respectful he was of all the employees from Unit Coordinator (me) to Custodial employees he was always polite and friendly. Thorough and always explained everything to his patients, taking the time that so many doctors do not.

Dr. Alexander treated my husband. He was very thorough both in his examination and in his explanation. In what could have been a very stressful experience his patient demeanor helped to put us at ease.

Our daughter Elizabeth saw him in March 2016 for abdominal pain. After performing an exam, laboratories, and giving her pain medicine he affirmed the diagnosis of gallstones blocking the duct and contacted The surgeon Brandice Durkan MD and admitted her to the hospital that night for next day surgery We were so thankful for the rapid diagnosis and care of our daughter. We were pleased he proceeded at a rapid pace and ordered an early ultrasound but held off on the CAT scan until it was clear
