Terrible emergency room doctor
I had just had aggressive cancer tumors removed from my left kidney. After the surgery I couldn't sleep for 3 days which was the reason that I went to the Emergency room. DePalma through the door open of my room and yelled several times "I can't prescribe you oxycodone". I asked him who are you and that I'm here because I haven't sleep since my cancer surgery. I'm not in pain. I just can't sleep. He wouldn't answer me and said if you send him back to see me I can't do anything for him. He closed the door. It looked like he had been sleeping. It was early morning. A nurse took my vitals. We waited in the room for around 40 more minutes and no one else came into the room. Like I said, we were the only ones that I could tell were at the emergency room. I told my wife let's go so we left. I'm 70 years old and he treated me as if I were a drug addict. Worse experience of my life.

I saw this doctor in the ER at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City , Fl I just had a tummy tuck at that hospital 2 days ago and was sent to the ER for possiable blood clot in my leg. He was so nice and understanding. To see this doctor in the ER cost me $1,200.00 with out insurance. If I had to go back to that hospital I would hope he is on call. Plant City is not the best place to find a doctor. I was lucy to have had a great doctor at that time. Thank you Dr. Depalma.
