Knowleable, prompt treatment
Dr. Kaswinkel tremendously helped my husband when a clot in his retina caused loss of sight in one eye.He was knowledgeable and professional.I have no time for reviews harping on doctors chairside manner. Doctor said can have good days and bad days just the same as anyone else. Do you want an extremely competent doctor or do you want a buddy? A doctor with absolutely no bedside manner whatsoever once saved my life. But it was his lack of bedside manner that allowed him to bark at other medical staff and get me attention more promptly..I’ll take skills over bedside manner every single time.Another thing if you’re going to leave a review have the guts to leave your name. A lot of anonymous reviews are posted by the same same person with an axe to grind.

The rapidly deterioration of vision in my left eye should have been treated with more urgency. Surgery should have been scheduled to prevent more damage.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kaswinkel for 4 years and recently had cataract surgery on both eyes. I’m an interior designer and color work is very important to my craft. My vision was deteriorating especially in the ability to see colors as they truly are. I felt desperate and shared my concerns with Dr. Kaswinkel. He explained all my options very clearly and I couldn’t be happier! I recently told him that he saved my life and improved the quality of it immensely! It is amazing to see crisp colors and have the ability to see near and far without glasses! All along the process Dr. Kaswinkel’s professionalism and concern for my health was evident. I have great respect for his knowledge and technique. I would tell everyone that Dr. Kaswinkel is head of his class!

I have had several visits to the Erdey Searchy Eye Group. The office, restrooms and examining rooms are immaculate. There are controls in place to address the impact of the corona virus. The staff is caring and well informed. Dr. Kasiwinkle treats patients as partners and provides information about treatment plans and prescriptions in a thoughtful and respectful manner. I would recommend this practice to anyone. The nurse manager is quick to return phone calls and ensures that prescriptions and refills are timely and accurate. Because of my immune disorders , I see three other medical practices. I always have to follow up with prescriptions and refills, but never at Erdey Searchy Eye Group. It is helpful to know that the nurse there keeps up with medicines and referrals and I do not have to. I just wish their practice treated more areas than eyes!

Absolutely satisfied with Dr. Kaswinkel and associated staff. From my initial eye check-up to after my cataract surgery, it could not have been more perfect. Dr. Kaswinkel is professionally educated and has a calming manner to ensure that surgery will go as planned. I highly recommend him. Two years later, my confidence still holds true.

Dr. kaswinkel did my LASIK surgery and I was incredibly nervous. He and his staff were very, very encouraging and talked me through every step. Everything went so smoothly and now my Vision is 20/15, better than perfect! Dr. Kaswinkel is kind and caring and I couldn’t have asked for a better professional!

My first visit with Dr. Kaswinkel was pleasant. The staff member that took me back was pleasant and thorough. He had a good bedside manner and answered all of my questions. I found the treatment to be appropriate. He explained my treatment. I could have lost my vision. The medication he put me on helped my eye and vision. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Unfortunately, my worst experience ever with a doctor. My surgery to remove a stye on my eye back in December was unsuccessful and in my follow up appointment, Dr. Kaswinkel said this was due to his staff “forgetting” to prescribe antibiotic eye drops. It was recommended that I only get a local anesthesia for the surgery and it was extremely painful. Now after a painful surgery, all I have is a large medical bill and a huge stye remaining on my eye!

Office Visits - I have waited to be seen anywhere from 15 minutes to 60 minutes. All of the employees I have had contact with are professional and caring. Dr. Kaswinklel is thorough, makes the patient at ease and instills confidence. My surgery experience was positive.

Absolutely awful, no chairside manners. He said he wanted to see me back in a year. Fat chance of that! There are so many Dr.'s out there. In fact I have seen Dr. Erdey and Searcy years ago and they were both fine but Dr. Kaswinkel lacks customer service and was downright rude!
