Dr. David Ahn, MD

I have taken my kids to Dr. Ahn for the past three years. His staff is always friendly and I was able to make appointments quickly. At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, he closed down his office to just telehealth and in-person vaccinations. I went with it because I understand the need to protect our children and bore the frustration. My son had a nasty fall and ended up in the ER and we needed a follow-up immediately to see if he needed to see a specialist within the next week or so. Dr. Ahn's office said they would only do telehealth when I needed the doctor to review imaging reports. The lady was not willing to work with me on getting him in to be seen in person. An injury like this is not going to work with telehealth!!! Needless to say, I found another doctor who was willing to see my son ASAP. There should be a better way to prioritize which patients should be telehealth and which in person so that children are protected but still seen in person as needed.
