Dr. David Auerbach, DO

I am so blessed to have found Dr. Auerbach to do my cataract surgery, and now my vision is 20 20! He is a very gifted surgeon! The staff is very helpful, also, but Ivette went above and beyond--I have to give her a huge shout out! I highly recommend this office!

My experience was awful!!When they finally answered the phone I began speaking with the receptionist Octavia and I began asking her for a appointment. She interrupting my ever word not listening to me. Then I finished saying what I was saying she stopped me in a rude matter, that she was going to wait until I finished what I was saying, but then instead of answering me immediately she remained silent for at least 2 minutes until I said hello is anyone there, did you hang up when she said ohhhh your done............ After I said yes she began giving me a speech about needing a approval code from one of my insurance meaning she still didn't understand that I was only paying with my primary insurance which was medacad and medicare and whatever was remaining I will pay out of pocket.... Short story short, the call ended by her telling me they didn't do eyes. The only sentence needed from the beginning! I will never refer or go there EVER!!!!!!!

Dr. Auerbach was an excellent physician and performed cataract surgery with accuracy, no complications and great concern. He was very timely and his office is very caring and efficient. I would highly recommend him.

Once you get pass his ego and his lack of compassion for the patients condition, telling you what he thinks you need to hear you should be ok.

Dr. David Auerbach, DO performed lens replacement, due to cataracts, in both eyes. During both surgeries Dr. Auerbach corrected lifelong astigmatism, using a laser procedure. His skill is precise and he articulates information extremely well. Today, during my final post-surgery visit, Dr. Auerbach corrected a dry eye issue that I've had for many years. My experience with Dr. Auerbach has been exceptional.

Saw Dr. Auerbach on a consultation referral. Professional yet friendly. Knows his stuff! Readily answered questions I had. Staff moved me quickly from vision test to test as doctor ordered them. Very thorough exam. Staff was friendly and professional. Appt started 20 minutes late but once in everything moved quickly.

Excellent! Very thorough, knowlegeable and attentive. Nice manners. Gave us hope for a diagnosis.

We have been seeing Dr. Auerbach for years and have full confidence in his treatments. He has never disappointed. Sometimes he has been running late because of surgery but always comes in with a smile on his face and an apology. His staff is efficient and friendly and patient.

My husband arrived 10 minutes early for his appointment with Dr Auerbach - after 40 minutes he asked how much longer he was going to be and Lindsay (the very rude and abrasive office manager) told him they were busy with an emergency - they put him in a room (to shut him up) and took his glasses to be assessed but then came in and informed him, he wouldn't be seeing Dr Auerbach, but whoever he was seeing was still going to be another hour after which time, he got up and said "He also has a business to run and his time is money too!' and he left. I must add that we've both been using this office for over 20 years. I also had an experience with Dr Auerbach who was very dismissive and had a horrible bedside manner - actually got annoyed when I couldn't keep my eye open for him to put a needle in my tear duct....I eventually did, but he had absolutely NO patience - that's the end of us using this office - we will be finding a new eye dr for us and all our friends and family.

Not a chance that I would recommend Dr Auerbach. He is hack who looks at patients as revenue sources not people.

He inserted a lens crooked but waited 3 years to tell me. State of Florida allows only 2 years to sue for medical malpractice. He was joking with the anesthetist during the surgery.

I have been going to Eye Physicians of Central Florida seeing Dr Auerbach for over 10 years. I couldn't be happier with my care. The office is the best run medical office I have ever been to. Dr Auerbach and his support staff are knowledgeable and attentive. When I was having problems with my vision, they spent hours patiently working to find a solution - and they did! I highly recommend for everything from regular vision checkups to cataract surgery and eye diseases.

Dr. Auerbach was very thorough and his staff in dealing with my exam and surgerys. I will recommend Dr. Auerbach to any of my family and friends. Tom Tucker

He is the very best in his field, and anyone considering cataract surgery should not hesitate in the least to have Dr. Auerbach perform the operation. Excellent!! He is meticulous with very good hands. Have had lesions around the eyes removed and they were done to perfection. He always answers my many questions. He performed a delicate eye surgery on my husband and it went perfectly. I recently has a cataract removed in my right eye with the laser and I now have 20/20 vision. Carissa took good care of me to get my dry eye ready for surgery with home treatments. The recovery was easy also. I cannot recommend Dr. Auerbach more highly.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes recently by Dr. Auerbach. I was impressed with Tristan, the surgery scheduler I was assigned to. Very nice, informative and professional. Dr. Auerbach was an excellent physician. My vision post-surgery is truly remarkable. He is thorough, highly skilled and I give him and staff high recommendations. I am very satisfied with my results and care. The surgery center even called the next day to see how I was faring. Very good service!

Dr. Auerbach is hands down the best. You can certainly tell he loves his job! He's extremely professional, you can tell he cares about each patient and he's so very thorough in each visit. My entire family knows that we're in the very best care possible with him.

Excellent ophthalmologist! He performed the diagnosis and surgery for a cataract on my right eye. He was excellent in explaining what the procedure would entail and what to expect for results. Very well organized staff and provided all details I needed. I am extremely pleased with the entire process and results! Thanks!

Dr Auerbach is the best opthalmologist I have used. He prevented an eye surgery that 2 other opthalmologists said was necessary. He completely resolved my issue. He will be my entire families opthalmologist now. Sandra T-A
