Competence and concern
Had a great visit with Dr. Beck regarding an inguinal hernia. Another doctor said I should have the operation to repair it because I thought it might be unnecessary. I made a second appointment with Dr. Beck who confirmed that the hernias were small and would probably never need a surgery but that we would continue to watch in case something changed. Loved his Attitude and bedside manner.

Smooth surgery
Dr Beck anb his team were very professional both at the office and the surgical unit. My hernia was starting to become uncomfortable and making my life difficult. The surgery that Dr Beck provided for me has greatly improved the quality of my life. Thank you Dr Beck!

My husband and our life was turned upside down when we went to St. Anthony’s ER. My husband was diagnosed with a malignant tumor. Somewhere along the road I think this doc lost empathy for patients and how these big diagnosis might not mean anything to him but change his patients life. He walked in our room said my husband had a tumor/diagnosis that was much worse and terminal then the final diagnosis. Said ‘good luck in chemo’ and walked out. A general surgeon diagnosing a tumor and telling us without any empathy what is was? path and the oncologist a week later diagnosed him and yes he has cancer but a beatable cancer that is NOT what dr beck had told us. I hope this dr finds the words and support for his future patients. Bc he wrecked our world that day.

One of my greatest fears is going to the doctor to get surgery. I had inguinal hernia surgery done on October 2nd at 730am by Dr. Beck. The staff there really showed that they cared about my needs and fears. Everything went as smooth as possible. I was in and out of surgery and went home around 930am. I was given pain medication for the next week. Right now, there is very little pain and the incision is healing ver nicely. Thanks Dr. Beck for doing a fine job on my surgery!!!

The visit was a nightmare because : 1. I left with significant pain and injuries as a result of Dr. Beck's examination. 2. His main focus was to sell an operation I did not need. 3. After my appointment with Dr. Beck and a visit to the ER ,I went to another doctor who stated that an operation was not indicated for my condition and he solved the problem with a simple salve.

I recently had a hernia repair with Dr. Beck and I don't know who wrote nightmare on this page without any explanation but I don't see that at all he would answer any questions I had asked him. The surgery went just as he explained and I recovered in the timeline they told me. Keep in mind when you have surgery done or visit with a doctor in general or anything along those lines keep in mind that they do the best they can do for the situation at hand, I feel it did a great job and cant thank you enough. I know its your job to do your best and not everything is perfect in the world like some people think. I feel a million times better after 2 weeks and I cant even tell I had a hernia at this point. Much respect to people who have learned what it takes to do these surgeries and practices ever day. If your going to leave a bad review please leave some feedback because no one knows why you ever wrote that. Dr. Beck didn't mislead me in anyway and I I'm glad its over & I'm back to a normal!

Dr Beck doesn't answer patients questions or show much concern for the patient. Rather is very eager to remove whatever needs to be removed for money. He will say things like that is what keeps me in business. No matter the situation he can't explain any adverse effects from surgery that you may experience. Also whoever he uses to stitch you up, well you can expect a very crocked line to be sewed right into you.
